No, not mine but my cousin’s - you all know him already from the book review he wrote for the site over a year ago. The little man isn’t so little any more after turning 16 last weekend and as a present, I took him to his first ever football game. Unlike his brother, he saw the light from a very young age by deciding to switch allegiances from his father’s beloved Liverpool to the Arsenal. I asked him to share a few thoughts on what he thought of the whole experience after the cut.

It’s about damn time we shared another food feature, the last one was released all the way back in April when I headed down to Dante’s Fried Chicken pop-up in Shoreditch. Not quite sure why we haven’t done any more since then especially since I spend most of my monthly earnings eating out with my other half. Right, I’ve had to rejig the introduction for this one. Initially written by Eniola who was present for the original interview with Zaha which took place a good 6-7 months ago now, prior to his signing with the team that lost to Liverpool last weekend. When Nike Sportswear hit us up re: interviewing him again, who was going to say no? It was interesting opportunity to see if he had changed since the transfer move to the biggest club in the world. Apologies for the disappearance on here this week, we’ve had a few set backs re:features being signed off and work commitments. Excuses, excuses right? Last Monday, Bank Holiday for many - we decided to get early and head to Woolwich to explore an abandoned site. Not what most people would give in a lie-in to do, especially on Carnival Monday but we were adamant to get out there early to ensure mission success after the trip old Highgate Station ended in failure. Aside from FJ and I, Femi and Matteo joined us – both of whom I’ve met through the internet. The latter I met almost a decade ago through forums, imagine telling your friends that you made friends through the internet back then, you’d be made fun of. Oh how times have changed.
