Apparently March was the month of the noodle (don’t worry, I was equally oblivious) so myself and Nike headed down to YY favourite eatery SUDA to celebrate the infamous noodle with an authentic Thai masterclass.

After releasing her EP in December last year, Juliyaa held her first headline show at Richmix, Shoredtch on bank holiday Monday. As you might have seen us banging on, the night featured special guests Dionne Reid, Nick Brewer and Wilson. DJ Ace from 1xtra spun the decks whilst Eke Bravo (who is funny as hell) hosted the show and Desperado’s sponsored. More after the break.

Y&Y homie Juliyaa is set to bring the roof down at her headline show next week (Monday 1st April) at the Richmix. After the release of her EP ‘Stars & Dragons’ last year, Juliyaa brings you ‘Stars & Dragons Live’ an evening of ‘rhythmic soul’ celebrating the collision of cultures, rhythm and art.

While we’re busy switching things up, get stuck into another selection of exhibitions and other things to do around London. Highlights include, Eva Wardi’s photography exhibition at The Annexe (Brick Lane Gallery), the Light Show at Hayward Gallery (Southbank Centre) and Richmix’s ‘Each to their own‘ which kicks off on Friday.
