Lacoste | Life is a Beautiful Sport
posted by Adam on 24/01/2014
Lacoste was always that brand that covered every angle as I was growing up. The brand that stood for a bit of everything. It was classic sportswear that was trendy, sophisticated and functional, but still held that luxury appeal. With that, I am really pleased to hear that Lacoste is going back to their roots and founding values with their latest campaign launch #livebeautifully. Remaining sporty and relaxed, even when confronted with challenges; the true “Lacoste spirit”. To celebrate the launch of this campaign, the wonderful people at Lacoste invited us out to Paris for the #beautifulparty in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Lacoste gathered a collection of their favourite bloggers and other media gurus from around the world to celebrate at an exclusive party in Paris. The combined online reach of those at the party must have been staggering, and we were proud to represent the UK as friends of the famous crocodile logo along with Menswear Style, Mr. Boy and La Petite Anglaise. Other bloggers from around the world included Rumi Neely (Fashion Toast), High Snobiety and Kate Loves Me.
After checking in at Hotel Fabric (highly recommended if you’re travelling to Paris, by the way), we kitted ourselves in Lacoste gear and head to the party. What a fantastic night. Brilliant music, a bottomless bar, table tennis, live pasting of the campaign imagery and an awesome 360 degrees matrix-esque photo set up. Very impressive! (Hopefully the GIF below has loaded for you!)
The new collection and new era of Lacoste is a great representation of their sport and performance values and the importance of implementing that in to everyday life. Right on, we say.
Thanks to Lacoste for a fantastic night in Paris.
