Miguel Vallinas’ ‘Segundas Pieles’ Photo Series

Segundas Pieles is Spanish for ‘Second Skins’ and in his photo-series, Spanish photographer Miguel Vallinas executes a picture perfect interpretation of what an animal’s wardrobe might look like. At first glance you might brush this off as another well photoshopped photo-series but actually you begin to see Miguel’s thought process behind each portrait… from their facial expressions and poses to the clear synergy between each animal and their outfit. But yes the photoshopping must be applauded, and I do love the lighting- it’s given each portrait an air of mystery. This is only one project from Miguel’s body of work, which are all worth checking out, especially 24 Million Seconds Frames: Lonliness is About Two. More after the break.
