On Monday November 21st Selfridges London will become home to a new concession in the form of Sandro Homme. This will be the first concession for the brand and is the first step to making their clothes accessible to more people. As you can see, the collection fits Y&Y current feel for refined, contemporary and tailored clothing. I’m sure Yin, Yang and myself will be venturing to Selfridges soon to give this collection a closer inspection but until then we’ll have to settle with this lookbook. Now this I think will excite Yin. His love for all things sleek, sophisticated and refined will see him wanting these new Beats by Dre Executive headphones. Moving away from the more bold choice of colours such as red and white Monster have instead opted to target a more mature audience with this release. The brushed metal finish with the sleek black and grey accents add to the more refined and premium feel to the headphones. Will you be buying? I currently do not own a pair of beats but am very tempted by these.

Although this lookbook by Massimo Dutti is dubbed the October Lookbook I have only just stumbled across it. I’m not sure if it has recently been released or I’m just late but what I do know is that this collection very much reminds me of Yin. Over the years Yin’s style has gone from being the sneaker and fitted hat wearing kid to the blazer and pocket square admirer. I believe that Massimo Dutti have showcased the direction of style that Yin is heading for and to a certain degree is already at. Read on to see more.

So last month, we were invited down to H&M‘s showroom for a style session. What does this entail you ask? Our task was pretty simple – to construct a look that we felt represented our personal style using H&M’s latest Divided collection. To be honest, when I got the email in my inbox about this opportunity, I actually thought it was a joke haha. So we went down, not sure what to expect as we haven’t done anything of the kind before. Sure we’ve done shoots but not a filmed interview/style session – I hate being on camera and hate hearing my own voice played back to me even more! However the results are pretty nice if I do say so myself – continues on the reverse.

Last month myself and Yang brought you two new lookbook’s from Zara and now I bring you another. This one entitled ‘The Mood’ showcases more of the 2011 Autumn/Winter offering. I already know that Yin is gonna be salivating all over these pics because Zara have catered so nicely to his desire for a tailored, refined, sophisticated yet age appropriate aesthetic. A few days ago Yin posted the lookbook for the Collection of Style better known as COS, 2011 Autumn/Winter Collection however I came across some alternate photo’s that actually showcase the collection in its full glory. Peep the fresh new set of pics after the break and start making a list of what pieces you’ll be purchasing. For me, I think i’d only be interested in one of their blazers, what do you guys think of the collection?

The boy from East London to the man drinking afternoon tea in Mayfair. What a picture of growth right? Haha no. I was just there for a special day, an one-off thing with my other half as it was our one year. You know how I do? had to go all out, take the day off and spend some quality time conversating (tweeting/instagram’ing our cheesyness) over some fancy tea and cakes. It came to around £70 in total which in all fairness isn’t too bad if you think about Mayfair prices. All those cakes and unlimited tea was most definitely filling and to think we had dinner straight after that is crazy. I do recommend it guys, take your lady out and make her feel appreciated. Especially on a special occasion, it’s fancy pancy but once in a while it doesn’t hurt to break the bank. More on the reverse.
