I’ve been having a serious writing block for the last few months, starting things and just not finishing them has been the name of the game for a while. That, and being so close to graduation, I think is stumping any creativity within me. So, while I try and find myself, I’ll leave you with the last poem I wrote in full.

What is it exactly that women want? Who can answer that question? Because even I – all this woman in all this body am struggling to find the answer.
After a brief hiatus, (finals week, traveling, sickness and all that jazz) – I plan to be back and writing with a vengeance. Hope I’ve been missed.
I’m a choosy person, I continue to believe this is why I’ve been single for five years and not because I’m destined to lay naked on my bedroom floor screaming Adele lyrics at my twenty-seven cats. Hopefully this poem shows a little bit more why I’m so choosy.

I rarely have venting problems, but something has gotta give sometimes. Don’t worry I won’t rant too much, and it’s a short poem but hopefully some of you understand.
This poem is not only for the ladies but for the guys too. I wrote this after I figured that so many people (guys in particular) are never really worried about me, but moreso themselves and what they can get from me. And me, like the fool I am, tends to fall back into the same trap – different person, different day, same stupid story. But I know I’m not the only one who goes through this, and so I present to you…
I told you I’d return back to my friskiness in no time. Don’t worry, the next one may be back to the dark and gloomy side of me, but I thought I’d write about something everyone goes through, but is too scared to talk about. And this, well apart from some personal events, this poem was inspired from all the movies about friends, with benefits.
