Funny this morning my friend and I were wondering how long our ‘amazing’ weather would last for… we soon found out. Cool. Well since the weather started to warm up I’ve been saying I don’t having anything appropriate for it so I started looking around. Found a few cool pieces (mainly shorts) that my final student loan would love to eat up!

I’m not sure if all of you know this but I set myself a food related challenge at the beginning of March. It was to stop eating my favourite food for 40 days, I did it for some personal reasons. Now 40 days and 5 Nandos trips later, I’ve stuck by my no chicken diet. It’s been a tough journey, especially when my family decide demolish 2 KFC buckets in front of me. Par. Anyway, the last Y&Y meeting took place at the Nandos in Canary Wharf. More on the reverse carnivores.

After alot of hinting/basically begging for one, I got a guitar for Christmas just gone by. I was so excited to finally get one as I have always wanted to play the guitar but hold on… did I even know how to strum it!? So about a 6 weeks ago I started having lessons, again long overdue I wish I had learnt this when I was a kid but to be honest I would have been happy playing the triangle just so I could say I play instrument!

I can’t believe it has already been 365 days since we wrote our very first post. It still feels like yesterday, I don’t really know what has happened in the past year – it’s flown by at a frantic pace, everything has been so crazy and hectic. In all honestly when I first started writing these posts I really had no clue where we were going, other than expressing our views on the internet hoping that some people will out there will read it. Back then we were on 3 posts a day, now we try to average around 7 (mind you we only had 3 yesterday!) but it’s hard work trying to find time to post on top our student lives and part-time jobs/internships. Plenty more rambling after the cut.

Early last week I received an email from CIRCUS bookazine, a German publication asking if we were available for an interview. My initial reaction before replying was like this (click). It was definitely a surprise for us to be asked, flattering! and of course we responded yes. To be honest I was quite nervous before Kristine from CIRCUS hit us up via Skype to conduct the interview but then realised I just have to be myself and it should be fine. More after the cut.

We did a quick shoot over the weekend to review the upcoming Reiss Fall/Winter 2010 pieces. We’ve had a few issues with RAW files losing the settings so editing them has been a bitch, lost a lot of quality. However some of the photos came out good, here are 2 from the shoot. The full review should up in a few days. Hold tight.

Last week it was my birthday and now this week it’s my brother from a black mother Yang‘s birthday. So ya’ll wish him a happy birthday! and pray that his afro doesn’t start turning grey.
