I photographed these watches back in January but delay pon delay meant I didn’t get to release it for 3 months. Tendence watches have an unique contemporary dimension that fuses innovation with fine design. The attention to detail in the watch face is what originally grabbed my attention; you can see the clear Italian inspiration there with tri-case design. The brand has only been around for just over half a decade and have yet to break into the UK market. Hop on after the cut to see and read more about the brand.

Spring/Summer this year looks to be a good one for Nixon as they release images from their ‘Oxyde‘ collection. The collection comprises of wallets, belts, watches, iPad cases, you name it! Boasting high quality leather and an earthy colour pallet, the Oxyde collection is a step up form anything I’ve seen from Nixon in the past. With this new vintage look, you can expect brushed steel bezels and dark leather straps along with premium Horween leather. See the collection after the break.

Last week, I had a random encounter with a very well dressed New York fella in a Manhattan coffee shop. I asked him for some directions, he complimented me on my watch and English accent and then somehow we got onto the subject of English fashion blogs. To my pleasant surprise he said his favourite blog was Y&Y!!! I nearly choked on my drink and then I told him I was a contributing writer. Anyway that has encouraged me to do some more posts on New York brands, events and the city in general whilst I have the privilege of living in this concrete jungle. After all, looks like Y&Y has enthusiastic readers in New York!  This post is on the Nooka watch that the New Yorker kindly complimented me on. More on Nooka watches after the jump.

Never in my life have I wanted a watch so bad. This watch looks so dope that its probably not going to be put into production, that always happens with stuff like this. This stylish and innovative Revolutio Concept Watch is designed by Mickaël Chros and has two revolving metal rings that display minutes and hours and is powered by a standard watch engine. Replacing a traditional clasp is a magnetic locking system keeping the watch strapped to the wrist. The center-less design is unique and simply stunning, I WANT ONE! more pics on the flipside.
