I don’t think I need to remind you all of my love for Mexican food and in particular Wahaca‘s Mexican cuisine. They are undoubtedly the best Mexican chain in London, don’t even try challenge me! go there, taste the food and experience the service then you’ll see why I speak so highly about the place. A few of us headed down to the Wardour Street branch after work on Monday and me & her decided to go for the Wahaca Selection. Something different to the usual burrito that I get. The Wahaca selection is a combination of a few of their favourite dishes for 2 people to share. It was definitely worth the £19.95 price tag, if you wanted to buy the items separately it would cost around £30! maybe even more. Imagery and  more after the cut.

The competition is finally over and I’ve already picked a winner randomly from my inbox. My phone has been going OFF every 5 minutes for the past 2-3 days with entries, madness. Some people have entered a lot of times, some even from the brothers, sisters, mothers emails as well. I can tell from the surnames! haha. Hop on after the cut to find out if you won a meal for 2 at Wahaca.

Wahaca was one of the first restaurant reviews we conducted last year and still my favourite one of them all. I think I’ve been to Wahaca about 20 times since, their chicken tinga burrito is somewhat heavenly. I can never say no to good food! and that’s what they offer, GOOD FOOD. It’s my easily my favourite Mexican restaurant in London. We’ve teamed up with them to offer ya’ll a chance to win a MEAL FOR TWO and a round of margaritas at their Covent Garden restaurant. All you have to do is answer a simple question on the reverse.

As you all may already know, I usually fill up monthly photography albums on Facebook and this month’s I have managed to complete already (200 photos). So instead of going on a hiatus, I’ve decided to switch it up and start a black and white photography series. I’ve always loved B&W photographs but haven’t really taken many as my style of photography relies on vibrant colours. It’s definitely going to be a learning curve experimenting with this new style, have a gander at the first few I shot yesterday on the reverse.

My favourite Mexican restaurant in London has further expanded by opening up a new restaurant in the heart of Soho, Wardour Street. I always ended up going El Camion for Mexican when I was in the Oxford/Picadilly Circus area as the trek to Covent Garden for the first Wahaca was just too daunting for me #lazytalk. The design for this new restaurant is amazing, lovely use of colour and lighting and still staying true to their Mexican market eating roots with all the wood use. After the cut for more photographs.

Last year for me in terms of food was all about Sushi. That was after overcoming my narrow-minded attitude towards eating raw fish. This year however it’s the year of the Mexican food and I think we have found London‘s finest spot for Mexican delicacies. Wahaca specialises in Mexican market food such as tacos, tostadas, quesadillas & taquitos, with platos fuertes covering enchiladas, grills and last but no means least, burritos. Continues after the cut.
