With the hundreds of fashion labels out there, it’s easy to forget the one that started it all…in terms of Denim that is! Levis pay homage to their beginnings through the recently launched ‘Levis Vintage Clothing‘ website. The site works both as an encyclopedia on all things Levis Denim from the conception 501 right down to a directory for latest Levis Vintage Clothing collections and stockists. The Levis brand holds so much history, to be honest it’s about time they launched something of the kind- would have made life easier for me during A Level business studies that’s for sure…God I AM old! Anyway, the quality of the content is equally matched by the website’s design and though an obvious requirement, I really like the vintage look and feel along with the use of pasty/pastel shades.

It’s been a little quiet on the Fossil front lately, well from us anyway! Looking through their current collection, they have a solid range of casual watches befitting for the season. We’ve featured one of their casual leather watches here, a dark brown leather and stainless steel combination finished with a chronograph dial for extra functionality and also a trendier look! More photos after the break.

Say hello to London‘s first vintage department store! Blitz opened their doors in August; a huge five room Victorian warehouse full of handpicked, affordable vintage clothing, reclaimed furniture and eccentricities alongside records, books, bikes, luggage and much more. An absolute haven for vintage lovers.

Im currently on a diet because I have put on a ton of weight over the last few months, I blame last year of year for this sudden unwanted enlargement that my body has seemed to have done. I am by no means fat but I’m just not where I used to be let alone where I want to be in terms of weight and for this reason this post comes rather begrudgingly simply because I feel Topman clothes are for really skinny people. This Dust Bowl collection includes vintage inspired garments that may not be to everyones taste but great for those who love this look. I only have a few pics from the collection to show you but a few pics is better than no pics right?

Wow. It’s love at first sight. Beg Bicycles are b-e-a-utiful! Pure in form, minimal in decor, retro in styling and with a delightfully dignified demeanour, BEG bicycles owe their aesthetic to traditional Sit Up and BEG style vintage bicycles. Beg Bicycles are hand-built exclusively in Belgium by a bicycle-building family who have been making high quality frames and bicycles by hand since 1946. Combining gorgeous vintage detailing with highest quality components, and elegant Sit Up and Beg style traditionally brazed and lugged upright frame with a leather saddle, and a whole host of sophisticated features, the only bump in your ride will be choosing whether to go for delicious Persephone Pink, Flirty 30s Green or Toad. Heads will turn, hearts will flutter and you’ll be Queen of the road.

Now I know what you’re thinking what are The Cool Kids doing launching a store when they should be releasing When Fish Ride Bicycles, well I was thinking the same thing when I first saw the name but The Cool Kids Club has nothing to do with hip-hop group. The Cool Kids Club is a brand new venture from the same people who brought some slick visuals recently. And this new venture helps you join The Cool Kids Club by offering the chance to get your hands on some exclusive vintage clothing. Check out some of the launch products after the jump.

As promised last week, I’ve managed to complete editing my first interview video. It’s taken a good few days to complete the edit, 3 hours to export the file and a further 3 hours to upload to YouTube. Long! but hopefully the first of many interviews we have here at Y&Y. As you all already know, we spoke to Jesse Boykins III on his personal style, influences, new single cover, Street Etiquette’s Black Ivy series and more. Sorry about the shaky cam, I kept forgetting I was filming an interview, as it was so last minute I didn’t bring along my tripod and sorry about the blurryness too! will work on it for next time. Peep the photographs from the shoot on the flipside.
