10 years to the today came the very sad news that one of my favourite music artists at that time Aaliyah had suffered a fatal plane crash. I can remember clear a day where I was and what I was doing when I found out, I was so shocked and saddened all at once. It seems the years have just flow by and now we are at the 10 year anniversary of her passing. I believe BET are set to air a special tribute show remembering the beautiful soul and I feel it’s only right that this week’s Throwback Thursday is dedicated to her. She is very much missed and the very patron of the saying What If……..she was still alive, where would she be now. But instead of dwelling of the what if’s lets remember what she actually brought to the world when she was alive.

It’s almost been an year since the King of Pop died so I’ve decided to dedicate all the Throwback Thursday post this month to MJ. Ya’ll should know by now me and Yang are huge fans of his music, just look yo at the bottom-left hand corner of the site to see our tribute. I don’t understand how anyone can hate his music to be honest and in my opinion his music actually united people. He has certainly left his mark in many hearts, after the cut for our 2 choices this week.

The boys over at Street Etiquette have just unveiled a new project, Sewn From The Soul. As it’s Black History Month, Joshua and Travis decided team up with 5 of their friends to pay homage to the style and aesthetic to a handful of influential and omost stylish black personalities of the past. This is a beautifully stylish tribute, can’t wait to see more from these guys!
