I fail when it comes to finding time to write this post on a weekly basis. Mainly because of the lack of music I download these days, I don’t download on a daily basis like I used to. However my iTunes does have 15,077 songs and I have listened to all the songs, fact. I’m starting off with Bruno Mars first single off his debut record. This song got over 40 plays from me yesterday, it’s that gooood.
Woah Ohhhh Woooah Ohh. The cudder is back with his first single off ‘Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager‘ and it’s pretty dope. I think it’s a marmite track, you either love it or hate it. Lyrically it’s typical Cudi, a few verses here and there and the obvious stoner references. If you’re a Cudi fan then you’ll definitely love this. More songs after the cut.

It’s the first track off the Step Up 3D soundtrack and it’s actually a video for my favourite R&B singer, Trey Songz‘s latest single ‘Already Taken’. The song is actually fire, I featured it in Eargasms 2 weeks ago but I didn’t want to label this post with Trey as I feel I’ve featured him way too much in the past week. The clips of the film we see in the video looks good, some real nice choreography but it’s a dance film, so I guess we shouldn’t look forward to an amazing storyline?
I know Trey‘s the ladies favourite singer but he’s been my favourite r&b singer for about 5 years now. I’m not going to lie, I downloaded ‘Just Gonna Make It‘ using torrents back then and had the whole ‘why buy when you can get it for free‘ mentality. My appreciation for music has increased greatly since then. So last night, I headed down to Trey’s first solo London gig and I can honestly confirm he’s killing the R&B game at the moment. Finally a Trey Songz video with a good concept. If you haven’t guessed already, the female lead in the video is played by my future ex-wife Keri Hilson and she looks DAYUM fine. Trey looks like a little boy trying to hold onto a grown woman but anyway she plays his wife who just called up to go fight in Iraq. The song is about ‘yo side of the bed’ and I think/hope ya’ll get the concept from that? yeh? no? if no, ya’ll got hollow heads hah. Video after the cut as always.

I think I wrote the last Eargasms almost 3 weeks ago! It’s been a while and I’ve got a lot of good new music. Obviously only that tracks I like, the rest have been placed in the recycle bin. I’ll kick start this week’s post with a track off Step Up 3D by Trey Songz, you know what to do.

That time of the week again folks and this time I’m making sure I get this post out on time. One problem is that I don’t have as many tunes as last week but one thing I can guarantee that the selection I have are DOPE. My favourite song this week has to be N.E.R.D‘s buzz single with Nelly Furtado ‘Hot N’ Fun’. Alternate music at it’s finest and especially nice to see Neptunes produce a dope beat as most of their productions recently have majorly blowed.
