WOW! is what I have to say after watching this trailer, however I say this not because I am particularly excited to see this film because i’m not but more because I was kinda floored by the CGI in this movie. The graphics at time were so life like, it seems the director Rupert Wyatt and his team really done well with that aspect of the film. The plot revolves around a scientist in present day San Francisco who looks for a cure for Alzheimer’s disease by experimenting on a chimpanzee named Caesar. The development of animal intelligence brings about a war for supremacy between humans and apes. Overall the trailer didn’t excite me that much if i’m honest, the film looks kinda boring but im sure i’ll end up going to see it so i’ll reserve judgement until then. Maybe Y&Y will be invited to the premiere lol, who knows. The film is slated for an August 5th 2011 release. Peep the trailer on the reverse.

RAH *picks up jaw off floor*. I’m not even a big C.O.D. fan but the trailer for the next game is mindblowingly good. It looks like a film! and its set in New York, England, Paris & Berlin which is way different to the previous games that have all featured places in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. I only purchase the game every 2 years as the developers Infinity Ward make much better games than Treyarch in my opinion. I’m guessing the storyline will be continue from the previous game and now the World has plunged into war. Yikes.

I should really be writing my dissertation at this point but I find myself distracted all the time so to use my time wisely i’ve decided to write a few posts. The being this. New trailers for the upcoming X-Men movie surfaced this week with each trailer being dedicated to a different character. I actually really like this idea of producing a trailer for each character, it allows the audience to connect with the characters on a more personal level and creates a sense of intrigue. Having seen the trailers I now want to watch the movie to find out more about the characters and find out how they cope with their given gift. Have a look at the trailers yourself when you read on.

Take over Isadora

Nothing like waking up after a good night’s sleep and the gorgeous morning sun kissing your skin through your window. Sigh. What makes it an even better morning is waking up to all the media news! First major topic that’s been blasting the headlines early this morning is the recent trailer release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 or as the French would say it deux! Now I must say I’m not particularly a fan of the Harry Potter movie series, mostly because I feel the series started going downhill after the third movie.

A second trailer has surfaced for the highly anticipated film X-Men: First Class, it’s set to “be in cinemas near you” sometime in the summer and I simply cannot wait that long! In the new trailer we are gifted with alternate cut scenes making the film look even more exciting than it was before. Those of you who don’t know: this is not a continuation of the recklessly produced but awesome ‘X-Men 3: Last Stand‘, the new film is set in the past unraveling the story behind the Professor X and Magneto feud. Catch the trailer after the cut.

Do you remember the classic courtroom movie “Time to Kill” starring Matthew McConaughey, Samuel L Jackson and Sandra Bullock? If not, I’ll jog your memory. It is the film about the criminal trial of a father (Samuel L. Jackson) who killed the men that raped his young daughter and left her to die. Time to Kill is centered on McConaughey’s character as a defense lawyer and the moral battle he has in defending a guilty man with every moral justification to kill.

This dropped 2 days ago but I held back from posting yesterday because I didn’t want to overload you guys with posts. The first Hangover is with a doubt the funniest movie to be released in the last 5 years, none of you can argue with that. It was epic on so many different levels: the cast, their chemistry, storyline, location – everything was just perfect. How are they going to top it? Well the dentist is having his hen-do in Thailand, that’s how. From the image above it looks like he got a face tattoo, ouch. Teaser trailer on the reverse.
