It’s been a good few months since our last fashion review. Many apologies for the slacking, I’m not going to use the final year at university excuse as we can ALWAYS make time. Any who, many of you lot probably haven’t heard of Pelé Sports but I’m 100% sure most have heard of Brazilian football legend, Pelé. The brand have decided to venture into fashion/streetwear like many sportswear companies do nowadays, it’s becoming a necessity. Review, photos and more on the reverse.

The folks over at Wholesome* are having at 50% off sale and if you have your orders ready by 12pm today (Tuesday), they’ll have it shipped to you just in time for Christmas. Perfect. Obviously Royal Mail + adverse weather conditions may not guarantee that. I’ve already ordered clothing for my cousins so go go go. More information on flipside.

I’m not a huge fan of the brand but I adore the slanted Futura font logotype. It’s iconic, they’re the originators! I’ve seen 100s of amateur brands try and rip it off especially the UK streetwear brands and even some streetwear blogs, you’ll see a few of them at Reset IV this weekend. I won’t be in attendance this time, just go read my post on the last one to see why. Check out some of the hats from Supreme‘s collection after the cut.

Remember Jay? my brother from a white mother, well he’s spent the past few months working hard on his clothing company Dead Giraffe. As you may already know, Jay is a post emo-scene kid – you know the type who rocked his sister’s jeans. Well he’s grown up and switched up his style a fair bit to create a brand that caters for ‘streetwear/skater kid, cross over kinda vibe’ – his words. The site launches at midnight on his birthday (and mine!). Photos and more insight into the brand after the cut.

I love these. I’ve never seen any fresh footwear from Kr3w before, I’ve always dismissed them for the skatewear company but they have WOW‘d me with this new collection. Especially the set pictured above: they are like the perfect fusion of boots and hi-tops. I want a pair! The styles are fairly simple and casual silhouette. Colorways are all neutral tones which are easy to wear and match up. They should be available towards the end of the month.

I’ve mentioned before about my growing dislike for UK streetwear and bold graphic tees these days but I quite like a few tees from this new streetwear brand from Bristol. My favourite tee from the lookbook is the one featured in the photo above; quite like the use of primary colours and shapes alongside the typography. Peep the full collection after the cut.

Heard of Benjart? If you haven’t, well you’ve been sleeping on UK streetwear game. I bumped into them a few weeks ago at Reset III, where they seemed to attract a lot of attention, it’s a good look. I’ve been reading up background info on the brand and I quite like their ethos which is based around shattered dreams; recuperating and rebuilding from them. Photos and more after the cut.
