If I could have had any clothing sponsorship for tennis, it would have been Stella McCartney for Adidas. Players always look elegant and stylish in her designs. I absolutely love her entire range for Adidas. And now she’s also designed the fan gear for the 2012 London Olympics. Stella has teamed up with the official sportswear partner of the Olympics, Adidas, to produce the gorgeous Team GB range, which includes emblem tees and vests in white, blue and gold, hoodies, windbreakers and bags. Adidas have definitely stepped up the designs for their Y-3 brand, you’ve already seen the S/S 2011 collection for them in DJB’s post earlier tonight. It’s fair to say this time, I was more impressed by their ‘fashion’ lines SLVR and Y-3 than the Originals and Performance stuff. Originals has a great advertising campaign but for some reason, the products are lacking this season. There were some nice pieces though and the weirdly wonderful pieces by the one and only Jeremy Scott. Plenty more imagery on the reverse!

It’s press days galore at the moment, we were lucky enough to be invited to the three stripe sportswear giant’s showroom on Langley Street the other day to browse through their upcoming collections – sportswear, sneakers, Jeremy Scott, Stella McCartney, Y-3 and various other collections by the brand. It’s funny Adidas are one of the biggest brands out there for sneakers but right now, I only own one pair. One of the classic superstar models is what I have, not the chavy ones – it’s suede and it got ruined a few years back by the rain *sighs* Peep the collections on the flipside.

Having just touched down from sunning it up in Tenerife I have noticed that my steps aren’t as light as they used to be (my weighing scales confirm this!). So it’s back on the whole dieting flex. This time round I have devised my own plan to eat less carbs, no sweets (goodbye Hershey’s Kisses) and to start running!
