VOR are a new footwear brand based in Munich presenting the 2011 Fall collection for their 1st Generation footwear collection. The style is very clean and simple with materials that fit this description such as suede and full grain leather. The no thrills and spills and lack of overt branding design plays into the hands of the premium contemporary market of which they are set to compete in. Im am particularly intrigued by these new arrivals and only hope I can get my hands on a few however it will be hard as the 1st Generation collection is being limited to only 500 pairs. I feel that I have mentioned Vans quite a few times in the last week or so, it seems Vans related news is just dropping left right and center. This time news comes in the form of the Vans OTW new Pritchard silhouette. The new design is being lined up for the 2011 Fall/Winter assortment and sees the brand head in a more grown up direction. Although they are part of the fall/winter range it has been reported that they are to appear in Vans OTW retailers from June 1st which seems quite early for fall releases but who’s complaining. These are actually quite nice. Check a few of the colourways in more detail after the cut.

Not long ago I stated that i’ve never own a pair of Vans before but had been intrigued by the Hermes scarf wrapped ones by Robert Verdi (see here) however we all know that those are not a realistic addition to my sneaker collection. I was surfing the net as always and came across the Lacoste ‘Stealth’ Ebury Pack which I think is a perfect alternative to Vans. I particularly like the blue and yellow variant which means I might just have to whip out the credit card. Check out the pack after the cut.

It’s fair to say that Yin&Yang has changed my life in many ways and all for the better (I hope!). I would like to think that our personal growth in our lives has been directly proportional to the growth and development of the site. One of the many things that has changed in our lives is our personal style. If I’m honest, I wouldn’t ever go back to wearing the matching sneakers/hoody/cap/tee look in the near future. It’s just not relevant anymore.

I have never in my life owned or wore a pair of Vans, this is something that I have been meaning to change for a long while. That change may come sooner than expected as I have finally found some that have properly grabbed my attention. The only problem is i’m not to sure if they are on sale. Stylist Robert Verdi has come up with the idea to add a series of vintage Hermes silk scarves to the classic Vans slip on sneaker silhouette. Each sneaker has a different Hermes silk scaf upper complementing the recognisable sole of the Vans shoe. Im not sure why these have grabbed my attention so much, it’s probably because they are so different to any other Vans i’ve seen before but like I said earlier I am unaware if they are on sale or not. My guess is that they are not. See the variation of styles after the cut.

Sorry guys that i’m a tad late with this but you already know what the excuse is but don’t worry from next week thursday we will not be complaining about uni work no more. Anyway check out the video preview of Gourmet‘s spring 2011 offering. The video contains all new silhouettes in addition to some of the styles that people have gotten to know and love. I love how they have chosen to place some of the shoes in clear perspect boxes considering the fact that the brand are renowned for thinking outside of the box when it comes to sneaker silhouettes.

I don’t know why but I have never really checked for sneakers from the Adidas SLVR collection even though I used to be (and probably still am) a huge Adidas fanatic when it came to footwear. As we hit summer and the days get much much warmer the fashion industry turns its attentions to the following season. Take a look at the Adidas SLVR footwear collection taken from their upcoming 2011 Fall/Winter assortment.
