Now this is my first foray into one of the sites most integral asset. I have, for a long time, wanted to contribute to this section but I thought it was a section that was undeniably linked with Yin and Yang. Take me back Tuesdays was a consideration for a while but I thought it wouldn’t make sense to have two similar post series. Hence my first ThrowbackThursday post. I like to think that I have a good and diverse music catalogue and it is my aim to induce a sense of nostalgia and joy when reminiscing on the tracks that I submit. 51 year old Sade still looking amazing in her latest music video for “Babyfather” the second single from the band’s album: ‘SoldierofLove‘. I like this video its very nicely shot, there are some great stills in there and the tune is really mellow. These guys earned themselves a smash hit with Soldier of Love, I wonder if this will do as good. Watch the video above.
Legendary R&B artist Sade finally drops her video for her latest track Soldier of love. This tune marks the comeback of one of R&B’s defining artists from the 90′s. To be honest the video is slightly underwhelming because her comeback was very highly anticipated so we expected more. Check the video out
Hope ya’ll had a good Christmas and enjoyed the glorified festive eating contest, I know i did. I was going to headline this post with the a leak of Lupe‘s Lasers project but Wasalu himself asked many blogfiends to take the song down. It’s been a slow week in terms of music and I haven’t had the chance to catch up with all the albums that have dropped this week. I woke up earlier when i got a DM on Twitter to the new Sade single! I don’t think the day could have started any better. It’s her first song in almost a decade and its pure FIRE.
