Ahaha. This is apparently a ‘leaked‘ version of the spoof video, it’s a shame that it’s not the full version. It’s pretty random but I can’t help but laugh, much more appropriate for the TV. I doubt Kanye‘s Monster video will ever air on MTV, well maybe after midnight but who the hell watches tele around that time anymore? It’s not as good as the Whip My Hair one but still have a gander and laugh.

2010 has come and gone and as the previous year drew to a close a whole host of people made lists of their favourites/Top 10’s from the year be it in music, TV or film. I personally find it to hard write top 10 lists so I thought I’d take the idea and put a different spin on it. Instead of listing my favourite songs I will highlight a few that caught my attention for one reason or another. 2010 has seen growth and maturity materialise in me and this has allowed me to appreciate things I never before would have done including music. Diversity is the keyword of 2010 in terms of where I’m at with music. The story continues after the cut.
We have all seen the preview and the stills from the video shoot and now the long awaited and highly anticipated visuals to the well received ‘Monster’ taken from Kanye West‘s album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has been released. The hype and hysteria surrounds the release of this video may have bumped up my expectations a little too high because if I’m honest the video left much to be desired. Not his best but probably not his worst video, check it out for yourself after the jump.
BAWSE. The highly anticipated mixtape from your friendly neighbourhood rent-a-cop Rick Ross has finally dropped, I haven’t had a listen yet but will do so later on today. If it’s anything like Teflon Don then I’m sure to love it. Hop on after the cut for the full tracklist and download link. Right I think it’s time for some family time and as it’s Christmas, we’ll be a lil slow with the updates. Have fun ya’ll.

Kanye West – ‘Monster’ (Feat. Rick Ross, Jay-Z & Nicki Minaj) Music Video Preview
posted in music by YinEverybody knows that I’m a muthaf**kin Monster. This is easily one of my favourite songs of the year, the beat is just CRAZY. I hope they play this tonight at the Sneakerpedia event. I’m pretty sure this isn’t the final edit but it’s looking dope so far, the whole necrophilia/dead people theme is freaky but suits the theme of the song. The Jake Nava directed video should drop in full real soon, until then enjoy the preview featuring a Nicki Minaj ass shot. Yes you read that right, we thank you Yeezy.
P.S. Don’t watch this at work.
BAWSE. Rick Ross has finally managed to find a jumbo jet that can carry his weight over the Atlantic to the UK. I’m a fan despite 50 Cent exposing his fakeness a few years back but the fact everyone in the industry hates Fiddy has helped Ross. They’ve all backed him up which has led to some dope features on his last album. More info and a video on the flipside.

It has been a fortnight so it’s time for me to update ya’ll with my favourite R&B and Hip-Hop songs that I have added to my iTunes library in the past 2 weeks. Starting off with my most played song in the past few weeks, Cee-Lo‘s ‘Fuck You’. His managed to use such a disrespectful song and managed to make it sound damn good. The song is 60s/70s esque, it has that timeless feel to it. Much much more on the flipside.
