Very dope. The man who Jay-Z hails as  ‘the conduit between corporate America and rap and the streets-he speaks both languages‘, Steve Stoute unveils his new The Tanning Effect video series coinciding with his new book “The Tanning Of America: How the Culture of Hip-Hop Rewrote the Rules of the New Economy.” I’m already in love with the book and it hasn’t even been delivered. Stoute sits down with the likes of Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Gaga (Not a fan of her answer!) and Jimmy Lovine. They speak on how the new generation have rewritten the rules of the new economy. Bet you didn’t know Pharell, Notorious B.I.G and Scarface inspired Louis Vuitton to start manufacturing & selling eyewear. Peep the first video on the reverse. Some Sunday inspiration for you.

Ah man, super jealous of Pharrell – no not because of his lifestyle, just the fact he gets to tour around Tokyo in this documentary. Palladium who have successfully relaunched the brand worldwide in the past year and half have teamed up with the BBC co-founder/N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams to look into Tokyo’s uprising movement from the recent earthquake and nuclear tragedies. I’m looking forward to seeing the full video which is set to drop online on the September 1st.

Pharrell‘s Ice Cream label is definitely bringing the heat in terms of fresh vibrant looks for it’s Autumn/Winter 2010 range. As usual they stick to the playful and colourful style within their clothes, it’s worked for them so far so why change the recipe? As usual expect the dope graphic tees, crewnecks, chinos (who hasn’t rocked them this year?), denim and footwear. More photos after the cut.

Few months ago I had no clue who this Terry Richardson bloke was and now I idolise him. Since finding out he shot the Pirelli 2010 calender, I’ve wanted to be him and now he shoots 2 of my favourite music artists, Pharrell Williams and Lupe Fiasco. Both of them have albums out this year, going to be interesting to see what this shoot is for. More photos after the cut.
