7 months away from London 2012 – let’s the campaigns start rolling in week by week. First up Cadbury, I know there’s been a big BRAND campaign launch that I’ll talk about in an essay like post soon but till then, let’s focus on the chocolate makers with their all new campaign ‘Spots V’s Stripes‘ in which they will be giving away London 2012 tickets on a weekly basis. To start of this campaign, they held a live event at London’s new Westfield Eastfield in Stratford showering sale shoppers with special tokens which people could claim later for chocolate mascots and the olympic tickets themselves. The tickets were given to the shoppers through a giant Party Popper – a great start to a potentially huge campaign for them. More on the reverse.

Our East London neighbors over at Individualism are hosting a Halloween ‘Sins of Style‘ party this week, it’s one not to miss out on! After 2 successful style-themed nights over the summer, this one looks set to challenge a lot of sartorially forward people with the task of dressing like they never usually would. It’s going to be funny & somewhat scary seeing people out of their comfort zone but you know when the alcohol is flowing – no one is going to care about what they look like. I missed the last 2 events and this one I’ll probably arrive LATE after an evening class but who’s going to join me?! More information for y’all on the reverse.

Stylish blog brethren over at Individualism have unveiled plans for their 2nd event – Laced Up. Their first event/3rd birthday was an unprecedented hit, you can watch highlights of the event on the reverse, we were unable to attend as we were flying to Rome the next day. The main focus of this event will be SHOES, Indiv expects you to show up in your fanciest brogues or flyest kicks. Whatever your choice, just bring your shoe game! I’ve already told Aaron I’m wearing my vintage Ravel shoes haha. More details and video after the cut.

After my little show of concern regarding Beyonce‘s new album 4 and the songs that have entered the public domain thus far (see here) comes the leaking of this album track entitled ‘Party’. The song which features Andre 3000 is by far my instant favourite out of all the material that I’ve heard so far. The song delivers refreshing laid back 90′s vibe which can only lead to good things as music was at its best in the 90′s, shout out to Kanye West for doing a great job on the production. Take a listen to the track yourself and let me know what you think. P.S the new album is out June 28th so make sure you go and support.
