So a library have decided to spoof the epic Old Spice advert to convince students to come spend time in the library. Does it make me want to go study? No but it’s pretty damn funny and awfully well made. Only in America would they create such ads!

I want you to start off your Sunday morning with a laugh but to do this, first you must watch the video in this post. Terry Crews is fucking hench. Sadly I think his forehead muscles are probably bigger than my biceps and I’m not even a skinny dude. I’m sure ya’ll have seen the Old Spice commercials by now, well Terry spoofs it. Think Euro Training meets Old Spice with a whole new level of intense. Right now I’m off to sleep, hopefully I’ll wake up with an 8-pac. Video after the cut folks.

1. Old Spice – Questions

One of my favourite campaigns this year. I’d love to see the behind-the-scenes of this video, can’t figure out how they made all the transitions so smoothly! great editing and concepts.

2. Nestlé Kitkat - Vuvuzela

Nestlé are quick to jump on the current Vuvuzela hype thanks to the on-going FIFA World Cup. Pretty self-explanatory from the iconic tag-line.

3. Pantene - Dandruff Is Not Appetizing

Ambient advertising is easily one of my favourite types of advertising. It’s pure genius, for those that don’t know what it is; Advertising found in our surroundings. Examples would include ads printed on the back of cinema tickets, floor stickers in supermarkets and on supermarket trolleys. Though I must say the idea of having dandruff next to my food is slightly gross, haha.

Old Spice Campaign

I know I’ve post the ‘The Man Your Man Could Smell Like‘ advert a few months ago but the whole campaign is now out and it’s damn hilarious. Definitely repositions Old Spice in the market.

Oh my god, Old Spice? Ya’ll must remember this aftershave brand from your childhood days! I’m sure one of your uncles used to use this. The one thing that always reminded me of the brand is the logo is the Blue Peter-esque logo hah. Anyway this latest advert from them is hilarious; Old Spice is telling women how their man could potentially smell like if they used their products. I think it’s clever campaign as I for one has always associated Old Spice with old man image but I think that images goes well with this campaign. I definitely think it’s a good angle for Old Spice to involve women in this campaign, adverts after the cut.

They claim ‘We’re not saying this body wash will make your man smell into a romantic millionaire jet fighter pilot, but we are insinuating it.’ haha.

The last lines on both these adverts had me in tears. Check it out!
