Erykah Badu (Feat. Rick Ross) – ‘Window Seat’ (Remix) Video

Creative Control & Control Freaq team up to direct Erykah Badu‘s video for the remix of her Window Seat single featuring the BAWSE, Rick Ross. In all honestly, I don’t think his verse adds anything to the song but her featuring him is understandable he’s the hot sh*t right now. I quite like the way it’s filmed, the blurry visuals go well with the New York city visuals. The video starts off with Rick Ross picking up Erykah from Jail – a little jibe at the controversy sparked by the original video. Peep it after the cut.

Kanye West – Power Music Video *Updated*

I know we have already post a music video today but i can not just let this one slide because the highly anticipated music video for Kanye West’s new single ‘Power’ has just dropped. Marco Brambilla the videos director is sure to get a number of people wanting his services after this masterpiece. The strapline in the picture above could not be more relevant “It’s not a video…It’s a painting”, it sure is a stunner. The use of visual graphics has been done in a way in which we have never seen before in a music video. Mr West is going all out this go around and so far I’m liking what he has to offer. Peep the video after the jump.

Eminem – Love The Way You Lie (feat. Rihanna) Music Video

She’s just too damn hot, I don’t think other women can compare. Though I dislike the high-waisted contraption she has on,but I wouldn’t throw her out of bed for that. I’ve swayed far too deep into my Rihanna obsession – Eminem‘s video for his 2nd single off his album is here. It’s a catchy track,  way too overplayed for my liking. Rihanna & Megan Fox in the same video, never thought I’d see that happen. Peep it after the cut.

The Making of Kanye West’s Power Video

This is so dope. The video for Kanye West‘s single Power has been shot and is now being edited in the studio, this video shows the production process behind it and what we can expect from the final cut. It looks nuts to say the least – the video has been inspired by Michaelangelo’s frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the artwork that depicts faux historical movement of an empire on the brink of collapse due to its own excess and corruption. Before ya’ll start calling for Ye’s head because of the devil horns featured in this video – lookback to College Dropout, track number 7 – Jesus Walks. Video after cut.

Chromeo – ‘Don’t Turn The Lights On’ Music Video

If you’re an Electro funk lover like I am you have something to rejoice about. You’ll be glad to hear that Chromeo has released their video to their latest single “Don’t Turn The Lights On“. The video features interesting visual quite reminiscent of a cheezy 80′s movie or music video. You’ll also see a lot of weird things (i.e the torn eyeballs, man spitting out grapes as if it was blood). The single is off their forthcoming third LP Business Casual. So be on the look out for the album. Video after the cut.

Estelle ‘Fall In Love’ Video

Wasn’t Long ago that Estelle dropped her first ever mixtape which was quite cool, yesterday she premiered her video for ‘Fall In Love‘.  There are two videos, one featuring Nas and the other featuring John Legend; both videos are pretty similar but I prefer the one with John Legend just because I think him and Estelle work better together where they have a similar sound. I have always preferred Estelle’s music from her ‘American Boy‘ album over her new stuff but this a nice track , I heard it on the mixtape and liked it but didn’t think it was a song for release. Her next studio album ‘All of Me‘ is set to be released very soon this year and its supposed to show us all the different types of music that Estelle is capable of putting out so it should be good. Anyways, here are the videos for “Fall in Love”

Kid Cudi shuts down BAPE Store NYC with REVOFEV

This is dope. Whoever produced this video for VEVO, I take my hats off to him/her as it’s so well shot and edited. Kid Cudi gives us an insight to his return to the BAPE store in New York for an intimate performance to his beloved NYC fans. Cudi speaks of his past life before the record deal and his 9-5 employee at BAPE before he performs a REVOFEV at the store. Video after the cut.
