So here’s the latest Banksy attempt but this time not in the form of 2D art but sculptures. Not just any sculptures, 20-foot tall white hands. They’ve started to emerge in all the major cities around the content and folks just don’t have a clue what/who/why it has been placed there. A pair of hands have showed up in our glorious city just by Covent Garden and what clues are left behind? None really, well other than a QR code which has been placed on them. They all have the same gesture but I’m not really sure what it represents. I’ll take a random guess though – unity? peace? or the number 69? Haha. Told you I was taking a random guess, maybe it creates a shape using shadows. All will be revealed soon apparently. Hop on after the cut for imagery and videos, see if you can decipher its message.

Rah. I’ve got to give it to this 19 year old Russian kid and his friends, they have balls of steel to do this. I wouldn’t dare attempt anything like this! In fact with my fear of heights, I probably wouldn’t be able to go anywhere near the edge of the building. Astonishingly Marat Dupri only bought a Canon camera 18 months ago and he immediately decided views from roof tops of houses before deciding to explore even greater heights. They use NO SAFETY HARNESSES – absolute madness so they’re actually taking the risk of plummeting down from those heights. One of the photographs was taken on top of one of Europe’s tallest buildings in Moscow which stands at 300m high. Crazy. Would you risk your life for art? Have a gander at the rest on the reverse.
