The past couple of years have seen emerging talent break into the mainstream and Professor Green is one of them. With a hit debut album and various awards under his belt, the Hackney born rapper embarked on his recent tour to promote his new album ‘At Your inconvenience’. So we’ve teamed up with ZTE UK to give one of our readers a pair of tickets to Professor Green’s ‘At Your inconvenience tour’. The sold out gig will take place at the Brixton Electric on 15th December, heard enough? All you have to do is follow the stipulations after the break and you could be our winner!

VOYR is our all access pass into the behind the scenes happening at Kanye and his big brother, Jay-Z‘s Watch The Throne tour. The daily video series will give us an insight into the hard work that goes into living life as Kanye West. Yes, they still work even after earning millions. Ye drops a plethora of quotables in this short first episode: ‘It’s a pursuit and responsibility. If people have done things before, you should be able to surpass them. I’m on a pursuit of awesomeness, excellence is the bare minimum’. BOOM. Inspiring, watch it on the reverse! Right off to bed I go..

Lianne La Havas is someone I’ve tipped for success and I first mentioned here in a post titled ‘3 UK Female Singers To Look For’. The Warner signee has released a live EP called ‘Live In L.A’ which features 4 songs and you can download it here. The EP, which was recorded while Lianne, was out in Los Angeles performing live, shows off her soulful voice and writing skills. The 4-song download is a taster of things to come form the young Brit as she readies her ‘Lost and Found’ EP that is out on the 3rd of October. If like me you can’t wait it’s available to pre-order.

Wired is one of, if not the best night for live music in London in my opinion. You see both unsigned and signed acts, some you’ve heard of and others you haven’t. It’s a great place for many things such as discovering new talent or simply networking with other attendees. However the video below looks at another side of Wired in regards to helping others.

Is it weird that I can call Wired one of my favourite events in London even though this past Monday was only my 2nd time. On both occasions I’ve been very impressed. Kate and Duke have created a very special event, which has now been going for 3 years and plans are in place to develop it further.

Oh gosh, I love live acoustic renditions of tracks. It’s when you can differentiate real talent from the autotune artists and there’s no doubting Miss Emeli Sande‘s talent. The good folk over at Pinboard Blog feature the up and coming singer in their exclusive show, produced in association with Red Bull Studios London. Big fano of the show because of the quality – the production, art direction and lighting is always on point. I need that big light for my shoots, love the blurry texture it creates. Enough talk about the video, let’s focus on the music. This is my favourite version of her single, it’s so raw. I’m sat here singing along with her, not quite on her level yet. Props to sister @Miss_Tosin for putting me on this, hop on after the cut to peep.

I’m taking it waaaaaaay back, you will all know this song because it’s been sampled/covered by numerous artists over the years. However NOTHING touches this version by the legendary soul singer Otis Redding. I bet a lot of you didn’t know Otis died at the age of 26 in a horrific plane crash, sad story. His music lives on 40 years on, can you believe he released 6 albums in the space of 4 years? That’s more than your Rihanna’s & Beyonce’s put together. I wanted ya’ll to hear the original mainly because of the Ye’ & Jay sampled ‘Otis’ which I am a fan of but it doesn’t come close. Nuh uh. Hop on after the cut.
