I’ve actually got a fair few tunes for you this time. The post was delayed mainly because of the Y&Y one year celebrations and I spent most of yesterday recovering from the night. I’ll kick start off things with the final version of Quincy Jones‘ Secret Garden 2010 version featuring Usher, Robin Thicke, Tyrese Gibson, LL Cool J, Tevin Campbell & Barry White. It’s like the Ultimate R&B crooner fest, straight bedroom music. More after the cut.

Woo. Ye delivers again! The HOV x Kanye x Cudi – that’s three different generations of ‘Rap’ in one track. Not to mention the legendary Curtis Mayfield. I’m definitely feeling the beat by Pete Rock, peep the track + download on the flipside.

I don’t smoke weed or promote smoking weed but this is one dope photograph of the Cudder. The video for the first single ‘Erase Me’ of his upcoming sophomore album dropped earlier today. It’s a funny take on the 80′s rockstar life, Cudi in has the whole Jimi Hendrix vibe going on. Isn’t that McLovin in the video? Peep it after the cut. The song is straight fire, although I’ve lost a lot of respect for him over the past 3-4 months, I gotta respect the dopeness he puts out.

Once again another Cudder track has surfaced the web. The track is set to appear on Man On The Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager which drops on November 9th. The track features The Weatherman‘s front man Cage. The song is actually really good. It has a trippy like sound to it. You can almost picture stuff when you hear it or maybe that’s just me but mostly likely it’s the Cudi effect. Before I was quite spectacle of MOTM2 but some friends of mine and Cudi’s new material are had me thinking otherwise. Listen after the cut.

Although Ye said he won’t be doing a G.O.O.D Friday this week due to the leak of the ‘Lost In The World’ track, he still managed to deliver. This track is actually fucking bonkers, I love the beat switch up and the John Legend chorus is infectious! I’d write a long description but I have to meet a friend in an hour and I’m still sat here in my boxers at home. ‘I don’t know why I keep calling, keep calling YOU‘

I love black & white photography and Kanye West & the G.O.O.D. music family. So what do you get when you put them both together? a dope spread for XXL magazine. The spread features the rosewood movement, Ye’s jewellery, G.O.O.D. music family and some video model, Nikki B. We definitely have to do a Y&Y B&W shoot when we announce the new writers to the team. How dope would that be? chyea, rest of the shoot on the flipside.

G.O.O.D Music Fridays is back! on the eve of NYFW kicks off. If you stalk, Kanye on twitter then you’ll know he was going crazy about it. I wish I was there as I would have had passes to the BAPE and BBC events where Cudi & Pharrrell performed. Kanye does a great job of piecing together a track that features so many people and make it sound cohesive, it’s dope. Are you ready for it? listen after the cut.
