Bieber fever is at an all time high and while the lil dude is in the middle of recording his next album, he is also in the middle of a little promo tour to support the release of his Christmas album entitled Under The Mistletoe. One of his promo pit stops was to visit radio station Power 106 where, in addition to talking about his festive offering, he treated listeners to a short freestyle over Jay-Z and Kayne‘s ‘Otis’. I say freestyle but he had preselected Otis as a track that he wanted to rap over so it could be that he wrote his rhymes beforehand but never the less the kid done a pretty good job. This is not the first time he has slipped on his rap hat, see here, and i’m sure it won’t be the last, who know he may even be the next Chris Brown. We all know he thinks he’s a rapper now lol, not that he’s bad at it either. Anywho see how Bieber fairs after the break.

Throughout the interview series, Steve Stoute will be sitting with icons, featured throughout his book, “The Tanning of America” where he discusses how that particular icon utilised the tanning effect to get where they are today and how it continues to change the world. I’m sure a lot of you have seen his work in the past with the Roots and Absolut Vodka. Danny Clinch is one of the most respected photographers in the industry. He originally made a name for himself in the music scene by photographing the likes of Johnny Cash, Tupac, Bjork and even Bruce Springsteen. You name a publication, Danny’s work has most probably been printed in it. What I want to highlight in this post isn’t any of that, we’ll save all that for another post. I want to showcase his videography skills, which are exceptionally good by the way. More on the reverse.

Beyonce is a beast. We all know this, she is killing the competition and working as hard or even harder even though she has an excuse to take it easy. Pregnancy doesn’t mean a thang in the world of Mrs Knowles-Carter. Since the highly anticipated announcement that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child Beyoncé hasn’t stopped working. From TV appearances to performances to shooting music videos. In the early hours of this morning her latest music video was released to the world and as ever she smashed it. Dancing and shaking in the video as if the baby bump weren’t there. By no means am I suggesting that she should slow down but I’m just saying that she would be forgiven if she decided to take it easy, however she doesn’t see the need to do this so all I can say is Work it Gurl!

Now after how many years I can officially say that the highly anticipated J. Cole album was most definitely worth the wait. The album is kicked off with an Intro, which begins with Jermaine Cole reminiscing on the day he was signed and drifts into is a very subtle composition where he raps about finally making it to this point. Now if you know anything about Jermaine Cole he’s the first signing to the Roc Nation label by Jay-Z himself. For the longest time I’ve been an avid follower, listener and fan of J. Cole, from his first mixtape ‘The Come Up’ Cole had many people in awe of the concepts he addressed from there to now, this album clearly shows the transition and you can see and hear his growth on his released album.

Super models? Please, pretty girls that clearly need to be fed more. This is cute though, some of them have serious swagger whilst lip syncing one of Jay-Z‘s most iconic songs that pays tribute to New York. We need a song like that for LONDON but I don’t trust the rappers here to come up with something as powerful and positive. Kano released London Town a few years ago which was all about how rough the city is, meh. I trust Wretch32 do a good job. Anyway, pop on after the cut to witness some skinny but beautiful women lip sync Empire State of Mind around the city. Victoria’s Secret girls need to do a version. Now that I would have NO COMPLAINTS about. *drools*
