Yin & Yang

Last night, we popped down to Jay Electronica‘s first live gig in the UK at Camden’s Jazz Cafe. As always the main artist takes a hell of a long time to show up, it’s a common thing for these American artists  but it was worth the wait as he tore it down in London Town. Before he came on there were a few support acts, one of which was Klashnekoff (remember him?) and some chick called Fatima. More after the cut.

Just thought I’d give ya’ll a heads up on this Jay Electronica gig, I only found out he was coming over to the UK to do 2 shows yesterday and I’ve already bought my tickets. I haven’t been a fan for that long but I know for a fact he is going to blow up this year with his debut album set to drop at some point. Come on, Exhibit C is easily the best Hip-Hop song I have heard this year and it has taken the airwaves by storm just by promotion through Jay’s twitter. It’s nuts. Imma start of this week with a real dope song from Jay Electronica. Many of you have probably been sleeping on this dude’s music, he’s been on the internet for a good few years now but has yet to release a debut album. This track is supposedly off his debut record which is set drop early next year. Produced by one of my favourite producers, Just Blaze, always a pleasure to listen to his work.
