I’m a few days behind with all my posts but as the saying goes it’s better to be late than never right? Take a look at this lookbook from Burberry for their Black Label 2012 Spring/Summer Collection. The collection looks pretty cool but i’m not sure if that is because the lookbook is monochrome, I feel like things always look better when set to black and white. As with every Burberry collection a version of their classic trenchcoat makes an appearance alongside slim-fit blazers, pencil cut trousers and other pieces. The collection is exclusive to Japan however i’m sure there’ll be a way to get your hands on it should you be resourceful. Peep the rest of the collection after the break.

Introductions have never been as straight forward as people make out, the science behind human interactions *sigh*.  Over the years I have become an expert at predicting and sidestepping awkward encounters, the art lies in knowing when to offer a friendly yet possibly awkward embrace, a firm handshake & confident eye contact or simply a cheeky grin and a wink (The latter proving unsuccessful from personal experience).

Whilst doing my crazy 13 hour shift yesterday this song from Nivea popped into my head and just wouldn’t leave. All day I was singing and humming it, at one stage I even started dancing as if it was playing through speakers suffice to say it wasn’t. ‘Don’t Mess With My Man’ put Nivea on the map but unfortunately her subsequent releases didn’t grab audiences attention like this song did and so she soon fell of this theoretic map. For those who don’t know she has an album called Complicated which I believe was only released in Japan, if you don’t have this album then I suggest you go get it because it’s kinda dope. Anywho peep the old joint if wish!

As you know Japan was struck with an awful earthquake and tsunami a couple weeks ago so fashion retail giant Yoox have partnered with 8 leading international fashion brands to raise money. The featured brands are: Ann Demeulemeester, Antonio Marras, Dsquared2, Kitsuné, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni Moschino and Y-3. Each of these brands have designed their own line of limited edition t-shirts showing love to Japan, they retail for just £25. It’s obviously for a good cause and thankfully it’s not one of those ones where they shamefully donate 25% to charity, these guys are donating 100% of the sales of these t-shirts to Red Cross International. Check the t-shirts on the Yoox website after the cut.

It’s official, I’m moving to Japan next summer. I’ve fantasized about living there all my life and after watching this video, I can’t honestly think of anywhere as captivating, mesmerizing and beautiful. Japan has it all, I fully recommend you watch the WHOLE video as some of the better natural scenes start appearing towards the middle of the video. Brad Kremer has created this masterpiece of movement and music, I’m honestly lost for words. You have to view the video to know what I mean. Summer 2011Tokyo!

Japanese clothing line ROC STAR debuted their 2010 Spring/Summer Collection in an editorial for Samurai Magazine. ROC STAR is a clothing brand heavily influenced by the 90′s Hip Hop era. In several of the photos you can see that the 90′s influenced the collection with the acid wash denims, dr. marten boots, parachute pants also know as hammer pants, over-sized sweaters and snap-back caps. I really love the usage of tribal like prints and flannels. View ROC STAR 2010 Spring/Summer collection editorial after the cut.
