The Michael Jackson tribute concert is ever closer and news regarding the star is starting to surface. Facebook have announced that they are to stream the concert live on their website and have dubbed it as “the first ever Pay-Per View event available to Facebook’s global audience”. The concert is set to take place on October 8th starting at 10AM costing 40 Facebook credits ($3.99) – this is the price if purchased before the 8th - 50 Facebook credits ($4.99) – when purchased on the day of the event -. Fearne Cotton will be hosting the event along side Jamie Foxx with performances from Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Alexandra Burke, among many others. Will you be watching?
As I am writing this I have Jamie Foxx’s sophomore album Unpredictable blasting. I forgot how good his album is, so I decided to show it some love by featuring one of the unreleased songs in today’s Shoulda Woulda Coulda. Quite a few tracks could have been selected but I chose to only stick to two. Warm Bed and Heaven, Warm Bed is an uptempo track that I presume was destined for the clubs while Heaven is a stark contrast. A great track that showcases Foxx’s voice on a heavily piano based instrumental.

We finally get the visuals for the Drake-assisted JamieFoxx track ‘Fall For Your Type‘. It’s one of my favourite songs from the talented actor/singer, definitely one of those smooth tracks that you can play on repeat. Drake’s verse is the icing on the cake as usual, can anyone relate to this song? I’d hate to make the same mistakes again. Gawd damn at the lead actress, she looks like a young JenniferLopez. Fall For Your Type by Jamie Foxx*record scratches*. I know same thing I thought when I heard Foxx did the song. As you all may recall in March Drake’s Fall For Your Type leaked online. The unfinished track featured the rapper singing through out whole song well at least what I thought was the whole song. But actually the song was written by Drake for Jamie Foxx. The song is good but I personally feel Drake should have kept the song for himself. You be judge of it and listen after the cut.

I was going to headline this post with the a leak of Lupe‘s Lasers project but Wasalu himself asked many blogfiends to take the song down. It’s been a slow week in terms of music and I haven’t had the chance to catch up with all the albums that have dropped this week.
