My twitter – @Niran7. In fact 90% of my social network/usernames around the internet is my name with 7 on the end. Why? Because of Beckham. Sad I know but when I was growing up, he was my idol. Nowadays I don’t idolise anyone but I do respect his come up, work ethic and most of all his style. This guy knows how to out dress the whole Royal Family at this year’s wedding! I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from his sense of style over the years, well maybe not from that awful sarong incident. The good folk over at Hypebeast sat down with legendary no.7 to question him on his early years, United life, fashion and style. This is the first part of 3, I’ll keep updating the post when the next few go live. Hop on after the cut for the video.

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Ralph Pelleymounter who is 1/5 of new folk/rock band To Kill A King. As well as reading the below interview Yin & Yang has an exclusive first showing of the 3rd video to be taken from the bands ‘My Crooked Saint’ EP, ‘ Family’. The video follows on from the previous two singles ‘Bloody Shirt’ and ‘We Used To Protest/Gamble’ which you can also see here. The videos are a must watch from 1st to 3rd as they make up for a mini series which is to be concluded with the fourth video for ‘Wrecking Crew’ coming soon.

About a month ago I stumbled across an image of Q-Tip at the 7th Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival in July. I spend a lot of time reading concert reviews, watching live performances and looking at event photography and I honestly do not think I’ve ever seen a photograph from an event before that conveyed so much energy, well maybe I have – but the photo really stuck in my mind. I found out the photographers name was Mel D Cole, checked out his site – became a little obsessed with his images and inspired by his hustle, and then decided to hit him up for an interview. Luckily he was visiting London for a week in August, and so we arranged for me to catch up with him and ask a few questions backstage at The Root’s show. Hit the jump to read what photographer, Mel D Cole had to say.

Erykah Badu sits down with Youtube channel Out Da Box TV in a 20 minute initmate and intriguingly honest interview where she discusses the Window Seat video, being a Mother, her inspirations, where she fits in amongst modern talent, her plans for the future and her views on the Black family & love in 2011. Badu is without a doubt one of the most inspirational and fearless women of our time and I found this interview not just interesting, but also refreshing. Check it out after the jump.

After writing the first post, I realised a lot of key points that I had noted down in my head but had later forgotten to jot down on here. Thankful for all the nice comments on my last post and do let me know if it has helped get you that job. I forgot to mention the process of applying for jobs, the killer interviews and more. Right then, let’s get started.

If you work in the advertising/marketing/social media and don’t regularly check Mashable.com, then you’re clearly not doing your job properly. It’s one of the internets’ best hubs for all things social media and web tips – the site started off as a blog, now it’s a multi platform news website that gives you the latest in all things digitial from jobs to business and more. I knew who the founder was but had no clue of his background till I came across this GQ UK interview today. He’s only 25 year’s old and started the site in his bedroom in ABERDEEN. Now he has offices in San Francisco and HQ in New York – running one of the world’s most influential websites. How did he get here? Hop on after the cut.

I first mentioned Parade on a post I had previously written. The interview we did earlier in the year with the band is finally here. The first single ‘Louder’ peaked at number 10 on the UK top 40 and now the girls are back with second single ‘Perfume’ which is out now and can be purchased it here. Have a look at the interview with the beautiful ladies and the video for new single ‘Perfume’ after the cut.
