Another G-Shock Collaboration for ya’ll, I know it looks just like the normal watch but I like the little features they’ve added to it. I like shapes, the little white detail stars and all black matt exterior works well. G-Shock have joined forces with cult London fashion brand Passarella Death Squad to conjure up this stunning bespoke version of the classic DW-6900 watch for the A/W season. Peep some more photographs after the cut.

A few days ago we headed down to the Casio event after work to check out what their upcoming collections for their premium watches range as well as their instantly recognisable G-Shock range. I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of their ‘classic’ models that were on display in the actual ‘Winter in August’ showroom. I feel if I’m going to spend money on a classic piece it would be from a brand that’s known for it. When I think Casio, I think G-Shock and they haven’t failed me with the new range. It’s been a solid year of Casio’s G-Shock, a lot of new models have been released and they’re not stopping there! there’s a few more models dropping on the next few weeks and here are a few from the Mirror Face collection. All the watches are again the DW6900SB model. You can straight away notice the shiny metallic bodies fused with the mirrored façades in four new colourways: tangerine with orange/white, navy blue with lime green, maroon with electric blue and sleek gray with dark red contrasts. All these should be available from G-Shock East in the next couple of weeks for £85. More photos after the cut.

I’ve been wearing G-Shocks for almost 10 years now, it’s one of those time pieces that people of all ages rock. I know a lot of people may dismiss the iconic Casio watch for a cheap tacky solid plastic but they’re foolish and clearly don’t know enough about the brand. Since the launch of G-Shock in 1983 over 60 million of the watches have been sold in over 100 different countries. I’ll be reviewing the DW-6900 model, more on the flipside.

KarmaloopTV talks to Dee & Ricky at their G-Shock collaboration watch release party. In fact they talk to the infamous twins separately, so it’s kind of a Dee vs Ricky type interview. Anyway, they pit brother vs brother to get the most dirt of them as possible. I posted the watch itself a few weeks back and it should be now available from Casio outlets for $130. Check out the interview and photos of some familiar faces at the party on the flipside.
