I must admit, I was a member of the Teyana Taylor sceptics society up until hearing this new track, “Make Your Move” featuring MMG rapper, Wale. This upbeat track is taken from the G.O.O.D. music signee’s upcoming, and rather distastefully named EP, “The Miseducation of Teyana Taylor” which is due to be released soon! It’s nice to hear that Teyana is investing her craft and time into genuine R&B, infact the vocal style and guitar twang is a little bit of a throwback to the Hip Hop/R&B collabo days of the late 90s/early noughties. Check it out after the jump!

It was just 5 years ago that the world was introduced to Big Sean. A very young ambitious Detroit native trying to get buzz on his music, his Detroit player swag, and put his city on the map. After convincing one of Rap’s biggest artist that he was perfect for signing with a quick 16 bar freestyle at a local radio station in his hometown. Sean landed himself a record deal with G.O.O.D Music and Def Jam. Under his new home of a label he released a series of mixtapes entilted “Finally Famous“. Creating a huge fanbase of folks fascinated with his Detroit player swag, clever rhymes, one word punchlines, and style. With massive praise on the tapes, this called for something bigger — an LP. And an LP is what we got. On 28th June Sean made it known that he’s set make his mark in the game and possibly be what Beyonce is to R&B, Big Sean can be to rap. Album review and favorites on the reverse.

I spent at least a hour today talking about Kanye‘s work and how dope it has been this past year with one of my friends. This is new festive track from the G.O.O.D. music head is no exception. I’ve been waiting a week for the tagless version to drop and as much as I dislike the Dipset crew after their Kanye diss track, they do a good job on this. Thanks to Christmas, Mr. West is probably feeling in an apologetic mood by allowing them to hop on the track. I hope he continues releasing these freebies as I’ve been rinsing out each and every one. Peep the song after the cut, get festive ya’ll.

This week’ GOOD Friday number is late but we can’t be moaning about that, it’s dope free music from Ye. It’s produced by none another than Q-Tip and features Talib Kweli and G.O.O.D. music representative Conseqeunce. My chain heavy, yeah, yeah, my chain heavy, my chain heavy, my chain too heavy. The track was meant to feature Mos Def but don’t know what happened, maybe he’ll be on the bonus cut of the album? Listen to the song on the flipside.

Woo. Ye delivers again! The HOV x Kanye x Cudi – that’s three different generations of ‘Rap’ in one track. Not to mention the legendary Curtis Mayfield. I’m definitely feeling the beat by Pete Rock, peep the track + download on the flipside.

According to his Twitter, Yeezy is in London. The same city as me, one can only dream of accidentally bumping into him as I don’t know how to get through to his agent or anyone for an interview. I was a bit disappointed with last week’s GOOD Music Friday track, just wasn’t feeling the vibe of it. This one is straight fire, featuring 3 of my favourite rappers – Mos Def, Ye and Lupe Fiasco. Not so much a fan of Big Sean to be honest but he does well on this track. Peep the song on the flipside.

Oh na na. I can’t get the new Rihanna single out of my head. Peep this week’s GOOD Music Friday track featuring the ever so beautiful Keri Hilson on the hook and the couple of the others from the G.O.O.D. music familia. Listen to the song after the cut.
