With the World Cup less than a month away expect a lot more posts regarding it in the next few weeks, I pretty much eat, sleep and drink football during the competition period. You won’t see me doing anything else, trust me. I won’t even answer my phone if you call me during a match females. You read that right, 3 footballing gods in one advert. I love me some Louis Vuitton and would definitely love a lot more of it if it was nice to my bank account. Louis Vuitton hired legendary photographer, Annie Leibovitz to shoot this new campaign that spotlights their monograms. Clever campaign timing as they’ve used 3 football deities; Diego Maradona, Zinédine Zidane and Pelé just in time for the World Cup kick off in June. Advert after the cut.

Amazing. Eduoard Salier does it again, his adverts always blow me away. This time he’s created a World Cup themed spot for Coca Cola. The 3D rendering is phenomenal, the story within the advert is just as beautiful. If you’re wondering what the song is, it’s by Somalian-born singer, K’naan and it’s called Wavin’ Flag featuring Akon & David Guetta.

With the FIFA World Cup quickly approaching Puma has put out their Journey of  Football viral advertisement showing the love of the beautiful game on the African continent. Now it would be totally impossible for me to not be in love with the video simply because I’m Nigerian.  Nigerians without football is like Eba without the Egusi soup. View the video after the cut.
