I’m a few days behind with all my posts but as the saying goes it’s better to be late than never right? Take a look at this lookbook from Burberry for their Black Label 2012 Spring/Summer Collection. The collection looks pretty cool but i’m not sure if that is because the lookbook is monochrome, I feel like things always look better when set to black and white. As with every Burberry collection a version of their classic trenchcoat makes an appearance alongside slim-fit blazers, pencil cut trousers and other pieces. The collection is exclusive to Japan however i’m sure there’ll be a way to get your hands on it should you be resourceful. Peep the rest of the collection after the break.

Another showcasing of a 2012 Autumn/Winter Collection this time from British label Alexander McQueen. It’s a collection which mostly consists of formal wear pieces from blazers, jackets and vests to suits. The colour palette can only be described as muted. Bright colours and bold patterns are no where to be seen but then I suppose it’s makes sense considering it is an Autumn/Winter collection. The collection as a whole is actually pretty decent and i’m looking forward to seeing some of the pieces up close when they are released. Until then I am restricted to looking at the collection in pictures as are you, so go ahead a check the rest of the collection on the flipside.

Brown seems to be the colour choice in this Bally 2012 Autumn/Winter Collection Lookbook. Designed by British pair Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler the Swiss brand displays what it has in-store for us in the impending season. The use of leather is very prominent in this collection as is the colour brown, which i mentioned previously. I’ve never really been a fan of brown clothes in all honesty but im not gonna lie a few pieces from this collection could easily find their way to my wardrobe. I Particularly like the outfit on the right in the picture above. Check the rest on the flipside.

While we strut around town trying to shelter every inch of our bodies from the cold, the fashion world stays steady releasing images and lookbook’s of their impending summer collections. Yesterday it was the turn of Tom Ford and his 2012 Spring/Summer Collection. The lookbook, shot by Ford himslef, showcases his signature tailoring and classic aesthetic. I particularly like the spotted blazers with the thick lapels as seen above, I may even have to delve into my non existent stash and purchase upon release. Peep the full lookbook, which includes linen suits, 50′s styled ties, crocodile John moccasins and some tighter than tight swimming shorts (im not here for those shorts), on the flipside.

Introductions have never been as straight forward as people make out, the science behind human interactions *sigh*.  Over the years I have become an expert at predicting and sidestepping awkward encounters, the art lies in knowing when to offer a friendly yet possibly awkward embrace, a firm handshake & confident eye contact or simply a cheeky grin and a wink (The latter proving unsuccessful from personal experience).
