So while Yin and the rest of the gang are on post writing hiatus for a short while I have decided to take up the reigns and provide you all with enough new information to fill their void. It was my intention to post about these Timberland boots quite some time ago but never got around to doing it. Sneakers have long been a prominent feature of my posts in the past, present and most probably future but occasionally I do like to mix things up. Take a look at the Timberland Boot Company 2010 Fall/Winter Collection Lookbook.

We have seen the Legends collection from Lacoste in recent weeks/months and now we get a preview of their Fall/Winter Collection. The collection which features a youthful mix of casual and sportswear design is very bright and colours which again highlights the youthful and playful nature of the collection. A good mix of knitwear, cardigans, jackets, blazers, striped polo’s, denim and button downs sees the collection cater for all. Check out the photos on the flipside.

In recent months my sneaker collection has seen a dramatic drop in growth due to the fact that I am unable to afford the type of sneakers that I so desire. Christian Louboutin, YSL, Louis Vuittion, Raf Simons and Gucci have all designed sneakers that have caught my attention but are as yet out of my price range. Trussardi 1911 have introduced a range of sneakers for their 2010 Fall/Winter collection costing between $553-$605+ similar to the price range of the previously mentioned brands. However on this occasion I have not been drawn to any of the styles and so wonder why such designs are commanding such a high price. The main focus of this line-up of sneakers is plaid and tassels, which were complemented with leather and suede check the line up when you read on.

Vanessa Bruno’s Fall/Winter collection 2010 is a mixture of light sheer fabrics, knitted layers and fur trims with hints of leather. At first glance they seemed quite ‘put together’ and yet seemingly effortless with subtle glimpses of femininity.  The layered textures really give the collection added dimension and the accessories are perfect for the cold months ahead. It’s almost as if these pieces are visual poems symbolizing strength and the taming of nature, each one more enticing than the other. I love the elements of day and night portrayed in the colours ranging from earthy greys and midnight blacks to vivid reds. More on the flipside.

Phil Anand and co over at Madbury Club have teamed up with the The BkC to bring to you their fall/winter lookbook titled ‘Made In America‘. I’ve adored the brand for a while now but have yet to make a purchase, mainly down to my finances and the shipping costs would probably be insane. Ergh should have popped by their store while I was in NYC in May, epic fail. The collection consists of their classic knitwear with the big ‘B’ logo – sweaters, cardigans and varsity jackets. As always presented in a very classic Madbury fashion. Photography by Vincent Piccone, love the post-processing on this.

I’ve been raving for months how leather will be in this coming season and I was right, it has kicked in. I see a lot of vintage looking leather manbags around but I haven’t managed to find one for myself. However our friends over at My-Wardrobe have a dope range of leather accessories on offer, after the cut I’ll break down a few of them.

Goodness gracious me, lord have mercy. The much anticipated advert for the Emporio Armani‘s Fall/Winter campaign dropped a few days ago. The one featuring Cristiano Ronaldo was posted by DJB yesterday and now it’s time for the one we’ve all been waiting for. Megan Fox is sexy as hell, I don’t think she’s all that beautiful but definitely sexy. This advert titled ‘The Tip’ speaks for itself, nuff said. View it on the flipside.
