L.G.R is an Italian eyewear manufacturer of high-end glasses and sunglasses, started by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone in 2007. Luca Gnecchi Ruscone, whose initials inspired the brand’s name, established the company after having made a trip to Africa in 2006. There he visited an optical store owned by his grandfather where he discovered a box of sunglasses which had been imported from Italy 50 years earlier. After having returned to Italy with the sunglasses, Luca began to receive many requests for the frames. He then decided to start a business. And so L.G.R was born. I posted the clothing from the collection last week, it’s dope don’t ya’ll think so? The sunglasses the models wore in the photos really stood out for me so now here’s a preview of the upcoming Acne eyewear collection. Sadly the dope glasses worn by this model aren’t on show here, actually I think they’re the same model but a different colourway.
Once again Nicholas Hoult (of Skins Fame) poses alongside a fine looking model for what seems to be a new found relationship between he and Tom Ford. This time round it is turn of this lovely Danish supermodel, who (judging by these pictures) obviously has no problem with baring skin for her profession. A trait that we here at Y&Y appreciate. . Peep some more shots from the campaign after the cut…

Meet the twins CoCo & Breezy, two young and very talented designers (and models) currently residing in NYC pursuing their dream to make it big in the fashion industry. Having being inspired by their own personal glam rock styles from Minnesota combined with the futuristic Star Trek styles rocking about they have created a new range of couture eye wear that are fresh to death. Celebrities like Amber Rose, Ashanti and Vanessa Simmons have been spotted sporting them. More on the flipside.

After a very successful Spring Collection for 2009 with the wayfarers dominating modern pop culture, Ray-Ban have unveiled their 2010 collection which features all of the classic models with a selection of new colors. At first glance they all look the same to me but after looking closely you can tell there are a few changes like a carbon-infused aviator frame. I think I may cop one of the wayfarer models but may just hold out for the new Super models.
