I’m very late with this documentary, I actually overlooked it when it first came out as I was too busy listening to his debut album ‘Thank Me Later’. For the past few weeks I’ve been dual screening my Macbook Pro so I tend to watch something on one screen while I work on the other. So a few days ago, I decided to give the Drake documentary a chance; I was surprised by how real he is and how much I could relate to him. I’ve gained even more respect for him after watching this, I suggest ya’ll peep the videos after the cut.

I fail when it comes to finding time to write this post on a weekly basis. Mainly because of the lack of music I download these days, I don’t download on a daily basis like I used to. However my iTunes does have 15,077 songs and I have listened to all the songs, fact. I’m starting off with Bruno Mars first single off his debut record. This song got over 40 plays from me yesterday, it’s that gooood.

Affion Crockett without a doubt is the King of YouTube spoofs, this one is just too much if you’ve seen the original Drake freestyle. He has Drake’s hand flapping antics on point, in fact they are funny to watch even when Drake does them. ‘But since when do rappers have to make sense when they make cents!’ ahaha, more one liners like that in the video after the cut.

I should do this quote thing way more often. I do like a random inspiring quote to give me a kick up the backside and get down to work, we have very little time on this planet. No time to waste. This quotes from the man of the moment; his debut record ‘Thank Me Later‘ just sold 477,000 copies in it’s first week and sits firmly on top of the Billboard Charts. After the cut for one of my favourite Drake songs last summer, it describes his success and work ethic.
