In late April, Converse and Dazed launched a competition to find the best emerging artist, a major new award to offer an exciting platform for new artists to showcase their artwork. The competition was open to creative’s under the age of 35 and promised a cash prize of £6,000 to the winner and a £1,000 for four other artists that would reach the shortlist. Along with that they also won the opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the Stephen  Friedman gallery. More after the cut.

With the World Cup less than a month away expect a lot more posts regarding it in the next few weeks, I pretty much eat, sleep and drink football during the competition period. You won’t see me doing anything else, trust me. I won’t even answer my phone if you call me during a match females. Dazed & Confused have put together this dope editorial using Nike‘s new World Cup shirts. The shirt itself is made out of recycled plastic bottles, check out the editorial after the cut.

Yen and I were flicking through some fashion magazines yesterday whilst she was overdosing on coffee when I stumbled across this dope editiorial in  my favourite magazine at the mo Dazed & Confused. The styling with the masked bodysuit caught my attention first as it reminded me of Roshach from the Watchmen comic novel.  Every look is paired excellently and cohesively and the dark black & white photography is beautifully captured by photographer Kacper Kasprzyk. The patterns and bodysuits create something un-human, somewhat like a monster. More photos after the cut.
