I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog for a reason, work has been fairly hectic for the past week with this project. Future Stylist is basically a X-factor/Eurovision-esque competition to find the best up and coming stylist; a knock-out competition with the winner purely selected by ASOS facebook fans. This year, the competition is a hell of a lot bigger (mainly because I’m working on it, duh), more contestants, more prizes and much much more! The bloggers have been handpicked by the ASOS editorial team from a shortlist that I put together. The competition features a few of the best up and coming bloggers-come-stylists; including the likes of Kani from KisforKani, Audrey of BeFrassy and more. Easily our most popular competition to date. In fact my Blackberry did not STOP flashing for the past 3 days, entries every 5 minutes! Crazy. This was our first womenswear competition; the response was incredible and I guarantee you that there will be plenty more to come in the future! BOOOOOOM. Bet you haven’t seen this before? Lookbook images from the upcoming Versace for H&M Cruise Collection. Remember I was drooling over this collection a few weeks back – click here, well I certainly am now. However this post is about the women’s collection, if you work in fashion or keep up to date with trends then you’ll know prints and sportswear are definitely the must have this season. The women’s collection is a continuation from last season, toned down and much more lighter in terms of colour palettes. It’s light, feminine with a lot of berries and butterflies print on dresses, tops, gowns and cardigans. Have a gander at a few of the behind the scenes photographs from the actual collection.
