This evening I came across some shots from the Anyforty Crewneck Autumn Winter Lookbook on instagram and was instantly pushed to hit up the website to view the full collection. Anyforty is an independent, UK based streetwear company that collaborates with artists for their Versus collection. They have had a busy year diversifying their product range with wallets, keyrings, snapbacks, tees and jumpers, as well as participating in the Outpost streetwear project & exhibition in Sydney; and so this is the final release for 2011! Hit the jump to view some of my favourite shots from the collection, as well as a chance to view the entire lookbook.

Say hello to London‘s first vintage department store! Blitz opened their doors in August; a huge five room Victorian warehouse full of handpicked, affordable vintage clothing, reclaimed furniture and eccentricities alongside records, books, bikes, luggage and much more. An absolute haven for vintage lovers.

After launching the video that brought us insight into how the Edwin Denim range is brought to life, the label have put out this short film to further showcase their latest collection. Usually videos like this don’t work because the audience forget that they’re looking out for the clothes-  so at first I thought this was not that great of a method in terms promoting and showcasing the clothing. However watching it again I think they did a good job in keeping the focus on what the actors were wearing with plenty of close ups of the garments. Watch the cool vintage inspired short film after the cut..

Yesterday Yin and I got ourselves down to Cube PR’s showroom to check out new bits from Spanish brand Medwinds. I love that the brand is all about saving money and cutting unnecessary costs such as paying for space on shelves in stores- means they can afford to sell their clothing for less thus deeming them more affordable. The quality of the clothing is also really impressive, 100% premium cotton- the jumpers in the photos below are a great example of really good quality cotton. On the whole the collection looks fresh and plain… however it’s too plain as I felt like there should have been more; would have been nice to see a little bit more colour and variation in the collection. The brand would be competing with the likes of GAP and Uniqlo if it were to be on the same scale business wise.  However I do appreciate the subtleness and focus in the quality of the collection- they also have some nice shirts and shoes plus the lookbook for this collection is immense! Check out some photos of Medwinds collection after the cut.

Initially a store that sold sneakers and streetwear set up in 2004 and located in Amsterdam, Patta have now decided to delve into the realm of garment making themselves. This week saw information on their very first in house production leak. The upcoming spring/summer collection encompasses both clean cut looks reminiscent of the Adidas Originals contingent and garments catered more towards the streets with big bright bold patterns. An official launch is set to take place today Saturday, May 7 via their Patta flagship store with retailers across the world to follow a week later on Saturday, May 14th. Patta clothing will be available in the following stores and countries 24KTS (Barcelona), Pigalle (Paris), Hideout (London), Hanon (Aberdeen) and Concepts (Boston).

I’ve only ever known Dr. Martens for their footwear so I was pleasantly surprised when I came across a lookbook for an apparel line. Little did I know that this lookbook was indeed a glimpse of what is to come in their inaugural collection of clothing.  Both men and women’s garments are offered and are both displayed in the preview. Take a look at what Dr. Martens have come up with for their first attempt at attire.
