It seems that Chris Beat-her-down is following in the footsteps of his idol and releasing a movie-esque music video for his upcoming single, Matrix. The mini-movie features the singer pulling off some karate kid-like moves to get to his woman. Err in reality, he used those moves on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna! I know he’s trying hard but I don’t know, I can’t take him seriously. It seems like he’s trying a little too hard. Another video like ‘Deuces‘ would have been good, view the trailer after the cut.

As you may already know BET Awards 2010 took place last night and Chris Brown‘s performance was a tribute to the late great. If that performance didn’t earn his way back into everyone’s good books, I don’t quite no what will. We all know Chris can dance but he brought his A-game last night and killed it, MJ would be proud. He then topped things off by breaking down into tears whilst attempting to sing ‘Man In The Mirror’. Well planned publicity stunt to win over the fan’s hearts again or was it genuine tears of sadness? Video after the cut.

T.I.‘s latest music video of his new album features clips from the upcoming movie, Takers. It’s one of those action chick-flicks, I say chickflick because of the cast. It’s one of those casts that if you take your chick to the film, she’ll obviously forget you exist. However the poster makes me cringe, Chris Brown with a beard looking like a wifebeater, Paul Walker and T.I‘s overly big photoshopped heads, Hayden Christensen with his Dr.Who/Clockwork Orange swagger and Idris, well he looks O.G. The video is dope. The song is definitely a grower; I didn’t like it at first but now after a few plays of the video, I’m hooked. Chris Brown’s dancing kills it as always and I just love the way it is shot in B&W; the tattoos and the dancing in the tunnel look ill. I’ll add their mixtape to this week’s Eargasms post, it’s surprisingly good. More videos like this please, less of the typical sh*t. Video on the flipside.

Chris Brown has had a pretty rough start for 2010 being that his third album “Graffiti” didn’t do so well in record sells. But Brown is back and out with a new video in which he teams up with Young Money’s Tyga. The whole concept was very scattered for me. The song is Holla At Me and I really didn’t see where a bunch of random people around a warehouse connected with the title or lyrics of the song. The quality was quite somehow. Not exactly poor but it definitively lacked what the other Breezy videos had. Besides that you can see a whole of growth in Tyga’s skills from his Coconut Juice days. View the video after the cut.

I’m back! 2 weeks worth of eargasmic music in this post. I had to delay this post due to my Macbook going away for repairs so I didn’t have access to my iTunes Library. I’ll kick start things with a Drake song which might be a leak/a cut off his debut album ‘Thank Me Later‘ which is set to drop on May 25th 2010.
