‘Energy’ is the debut album from 21 year old, Iman OmariIman cites Jazz, Electro and Hip Hop with a funky stance as the inspirations for his music. My homie ItsNate put me on to the L.A. native this week, and as soon as I heard the track, “Midnight” – a powerful fusion of synths, R&B-influenced vocals and beautiful words – I was hooked! I hate to say it, but something about Iman reminds me of a less poppy, more soulful Ryan Leslie – although Ryan has lost his way over the past couple of years, think genuine musicianship, synth-heavy, soulful tracks…laced with *real* instruments from a (handsome) young man that spends 22 hours of the day in the studio! Hit the jump to watch Iman Omari in the studio and for the free download of his project, ‘Energy’.

If you are already familiar with the Californian pair, TiRon & Ayomari – or at least TiRon and his culinary-themed LPs, then you have probably been anticipating the release of ‘A Sucker For Pumps’ for quite some time! If you have been living in a soundproof cupboard under the stairs, have terrible music taste or are just a little…late then you are about to experience some extreme “dopeness”. ‘A Sucker For Pumps’ is the latest in a long stream of high-quality, much-loved LPs and has features from BJ The Chicago Kid, Yummy Bingham, Captain is Cool, Iman Omari, D.R.U.G.S & Thundercat. Here I pick my 3 favourite tracks (which was a difficult task) and explain why I strongly believe that ‘A Sucker For Pumps’ is a classic. I’m already on my third day of listening to this album for over 5 hours straight, I just can’t get enough! And how often does that happen?

So I just found pictures of my new (dream) place of employment in 2015. The 175 acre Apple “Spaceship” campus in Cupertino, California, will be the headquarters for the super-brand, set to be completed in 2015. Tech-giants Facebook and Google (as well as Skype) often share proposed plans for their new offices on design websites such as Coolhunter, and as a fan of both tech and design – I like to check out the ‘coolest’ companies and their offices – however the Apple “Spaceship” just knocked cool out of the park! Hit the jump for more photos and info

One of my all time favourite footballers David Beckham was filmed performing some unbelievable free kicks into bins while on the beach in California shooting a commercial for Diet Pepsi. This is exactly like Ronaldinho‘s Nike viral a few years back where he repeatedly hit the cross bar with volleys; obviously a fake. David’s a talented guy but come now, this is clearly a fake! CGI ish. Still I had to post this, I’m sure it’ll go viral. You can hate on his swagger, David nearly always looks on point. Even in khaki cargo shorts, the look is perfect for a stroll down the beach. Peep the video on the reverse.
