Lego, lego, lego. I honestly think most of design skills came from years of playing with the LEGO blocks. The little blocks will always have a special place in my heart. In fact, my otherhalf even bought me 2 little figurines last week! it’s the little things, you see. Speaking of little things, if you happen to walk around central London, be sure to keep an eye out for these miniature billboards placed around the city by LEGO to promote the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. The billboards are about a foot tall and made completely out of lego, most likely stuck together using super glue otherwise I’m sure every other drunken yob would attempt to smash into pieces. More on the reverse.

I’ve been trying to rack my brain to think of any other time that I know of when British music and British artists enjoyed so much success not only at home but overseas as well. When I say British music I am talking predominately about British “Urban” music. It seems as though America has run out of new, fresh and innovative creative ideas and are now turning to Britain along with the rest of Europe for inspiration.

Like Nike, Coca Cola are another company that always seems to find creative ways to advertise its products. This latest print campaign by Canadian Agency MacLaren McCann portrays just that using a set of posters and billboards that have straws stuck to them. The photo above shows the 2 models on the ads next to the Coke one reaching out for a drink using their own straws. Genius! more examples after the cut.

Dope Quote #3

posted in music, other by Yin

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. - Drake

I should do this quote thing way more often. I do like a random inspiring quote to give me a kick up the backside and get down to work, we have very little time on this planet. No time to waste. This quotes from the man of the moment; his debut record ‘Thank Me Later‘ just sold 477,000 copies in it’s first week and sits firmly on top of the Billboard Charts. After the cut for one of my favourite Drake songs last summer, it describes his success and work ethic.
