Ah, I’ve been sitting on this post for a whole minute. One of my best friends is working over in Belgium at the moment and is in charge of buying brands for his employer’s stores. I tipped him off on Danish luxury bags accessories brand, Mismo. Checked out the collection with my own eyes at Capsule Show in Paris last summer, it’s immaculate – high quality leather and great attention to detail. He ended up making an order for them and I’m still waiting for my freebie.  Ahem. Have a gander at my friend’s imagery on the reverse, tweaked by me.

Just seen the lookbook for Herschel Supply Co‘s spring/summer collection. Herschel are really consistent with their lookbooks there is no doubt about that, however I’m starting to get just a little bit bored. I feel as though their last 3 lookbooks (including the latest) could be merged to create one massive collection because they’re that similar. This is not to say that I haven’t liked any of them, because I am quite fond of this brand. It’s just I would have loved to have seen something a bit different.

At first I wasn’t sure if this was a menswear collection or catered towards women but then I got over the fact that the bags look a little feminine and now am in love with the bag that you see in the pic above. Just for the record I can confirm that this Burberry Prorsum set of bags is taken from their 2012 Autumn/Winter Collection. The collection sees them playing with different abstract patterns, textures and materials brought together to provide us with this overall very appealing collection, whilst each bag contains its own appeal and allure. Peep the collection after the cut.

Very late with this post! This collection arrived in my inbox on Friday but you know, I just couldn’t be arsed to conjure up a post before the Christmas party started at work. One of those long weeks where you just want to CHILL. So within a month of releasing the first Versace for H&M collection, the pair are back at it with the first drop of the men’s Spring/Summer collections. If I’m honest, I was never really a fan of the A/W range, way too colourful and in your face for my liking. Most of the collection was whack with the exception of the Baitsville bomber jacket. This cruise collection comprised of 18 items, feature a more subdued range of classic Versace products including blazer, cardigan, speedos (?), Hugh Hefner robe, a tote and a few shirts. I’ve got my eyes on the bag pictured above! more on the reverse.

December 1st marks the World Aids Day and Nike are teaming up with charity (RED) again by releasing a new collection in red to raise awareness and to inspire action to support the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa. Although Nike have been in controversial sweatshop/fair trade scandals over the years, they’ve definitely cleaned up their act and giving back is always the best answer. They’ve developed a strong tradition of utilising the power of sport to elevate global causes using their sponsored athletes, product and sports events to ignite engagement. The collection features 3 items – A Melton Destroyer (which I think should have been called Peacoat Destroyer for comedy reasons), Cheyenne Backpack and the technical Zoom Meriweather. All of the products stream quality, fine leather, waterproof construction with the Nike x (RED) branding over it. More on the reverse.

Fossil held their press day over at the Covent Garden hotel where they unveiled a strong collections featuring key items for the spring/summer season of 2012. The collection featured the usual men’s leather pieces- wallets and passport holders but also a few pleasant additions. Find out what the leather giant have on offer for next year after the break.

I wasn’t actually expecting to go to this, had a lot of work on but as its one of our clients, my boss insisted…so who am I to say no to leaving the office to check out clothes. Nuh uh. Soon after we headed to the press day at Victoria House Basement in a helicopter cab. Some of y’all will remember the venue from Vice’s Creator’s Project party – its HUGE and ASOS have filled it out with a plethora of collections. More on the reverse.
