I don’t know why but I have never really checked for sneakers from the Adidas SLVR collection even though I used to be (and probably still am) a huge Adidas fanatic when it came to footwear. As we hit summer and the days get much much warmer the fashion industry turns its attentions to the following season. Take a look at the Adidas SLVR footwear collection taken from their upcoming 2011 Fall/Winter assortment.

Honestly i’ve never really taken any notice of the Adidas SLVR line before but this new collection looks kinda alright. My eyes caught a few pieces in the set of pics that will follow that has got me thinking. Maybe its the way the pics were shot but I actually really like the collection. The approach for SLVR maintains its roots in sportswear with some casual garments in addition to more refined pieces. Peep the new 2011 Spring/Summer collection when you read on.
Versatile Adidas brand: Adidas SLVR, bring us a closer look at the a/w 2010 collection of footwear. Based on these photos, the collection depicts a variety of hi and low tops, all different shapes, which I think is very rare in a lot of sneaker collections. They’ve also used quite a few bright colours but we are also seeing some black and a dark red. I am liking this collection because of its diversity, they are available as of now in Adidas stores so get moving if you want a pair!
I posted the preview to the campaign a couple of months back featuring Kaká, now the video for the full collection has dropped. Alongside the Brazilian footballer features Slovakian tennis player Daniela Hantuchová, who is mighty fine if I must say so. The pair do well to highlight the collection’s balance between streetwear and tailored fashion, it’s a very versatile collection designed for those that are active and still style conscious. Adidas like many sports brands are venturing into new heights within the fashion world and this latest venture, the Adidas SLVR is the company’s smart, sport infused fashion label which is perfectly balanced between the worlds of street and high fashion for those with active lifestyles and effortlessly stylish individuals. Girls’ birthday soon? Not sure what to get her? Adidas SLVR have dropped something new, a sneaker and wedge shoe hybrid obviously for women they have called The Women’s Slide. The slide is constructed from interlocking leather sections that wrap the foot with minimal contact, a cushioned leather and rubber outsole which is super comfy. The shoe is simple and elegant reinterpretation of the summer classic and is available in silver, black, white and in yellow… which you can check out after the cut.
