Although it grossed $493 million worldwide, 2010’s Clash of the Titans is a film best left forgotten, a lamentable plot and poor 3D combining with equally poor acting in a disappointing effort. Nonetheless as is so often the case, money talks, and the franchise has yielded an unearned sequel. Changes needed to be made and they have been, not least in the form of new director Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles). With some impressive looking trailers promising a look at some Titans this time round, has the sequel improved on its predecessor?

These are almost as impressive as the cinemagraphs I posted a few months back, these stunning multi-dimensional photographs by Ignacio Torres are real simple to make. Not to take away from Ignacio’s talent with the camera though, his photography is pretty impressive with the use of fairy dust – he creates these magical results and combines four images into an animated .gif file. Check out his work on the reverse, I obviously didn’t embed the animation in the image above!

Ok so we all know that the new craze in the world of technology is 3D. With the surge in 3D films and the introduction to home television sets with incorporated 3D capabilities it is safe to say that 3D cinematography is everywhere. As with most trends there usually is a budget and a luxury version to the particular product and 3D eyewear is no different. Gucci are set to release their very own specialist glasses targeted at the high-end consumer. Gucci 3D glasses are to go on sale in Gucci boutiques in the US very soon retailing at $225.
