I first heard of this place when someone at work mentioned it in the office Skype chat and after a quick glance, I dismissed them for a lame western attempt at Indian food. This was clearly my inner-Indian calling out, I really don’t like paying for Indian food when I can get it at home for free. 90% of the restaurant food is flavourless and no where near as spicy enough for my ethnic taste-buds. However during our company meeting, Mathew from Mooli’s dropped by to share some Mini-Mooli’s and explain a bit of background of the food chain. Continues after the cut.

The fragrance ‘Womanity’ by Thierry Mugler is supposedly everything a woman should smell like, fresh, floral and like figs. Wait, what, figs? Yes it has an overwhelming smell of figs mixed with caviar but not in a good way more like in a cheap air freshener kind of way.

Earlier this week we headed down to Cinnamon Kitchen in Devonshire Square for a 3-course meal and of course to talk business. Initially I wasn’t mean to be attending this review dinner but DJB pulled out because the team he supports (United, whack!) were playing that night. A 3-course meal and drinks after a hard days work? I wasn’t going to pass on such an offer and 3 hours later, I didn’t regret the decision I had made. More after the cut.

This year however it’s the year of the Mexican food and I think we have found London‘s finest spot for Mexican delicacies. Wahaca specialises in Mexican market food such as tacos, tostadas, quesadillas & taquitos, with platos fuertes covering enchiladas, grills and last but no means least, burritos. So last week, the lovely people at Vitamin Water UK sent me over a goodie bag containing the brand new flavour, Strawberry & Kiwi. In all honesty, I’m very loyal to my favourite drinks – Ribena, Rubicon Mango and Orange Tropicana. I rarely try something different and especially not strawberry. I love the fruit but drinking it is just not for me, not a fan of the taste. So to review the product, I hired a model in the form of my little cousin. Review after the cut.
