In these hard times where money is tight and spending is low I think the best remedy is to go out and buy something lol. Contradiction I know but the thought of having to count the pennies and restrict the spending can often cause heartache, somethimes the best thing to do is just buy that one thing you really want to make yourself feel better. Well if you’re a person that loves French Connection this just might be your chance. FCUK are holding a Sample Sale and it starts TODAY!. You’ll be able to get knitwear and dresses from £20, trousers and shorts from £20, shirts and blouses from £15, kidswear from £5, accessories and swimwear from £5 with new stock arriving daily. The arrival of the fresh and undeniable sounds of Odd Future member, Frank Ocean, has finally hit London Town, and I couldn’t be more hyped. Having finally announced a set of headlining tours via his tumblr, the intimate setting of XOYO was selected for his sold out UK show (which funnily enough is where Jessie J performed for my last review), perfect for housing the soothing vocals of Mr Ocean. Having started at 9pm sharp, he had already impressed me with a feat many artists often take for granted – being ON TIME. But it didn’t stop there, despite performing entirely in solo i.e. no band, backup singer, hypeman or instruments and just a guy pressing play on a laptop, he had us hook line and sinker.

Had a blast in Belfast at the EMA’s thanks to Dell and seeing everything backstage was a great experience, however it didn’t compare to seeing the arena filled with hundreds of people and then actually watching the show! Unfortunately I wasn’t permitted to take photos so they took my camera until the end of the show. Seeing as I didn’t get a chance to take any photos, I’ve used photos here from MTV’s website. If you followed the commentary on our twitter page then you’ll know what I thought of the show. Here’s a few highlights from the show.

The last time I went ice-skating, I broke my hand, how typical of me huh?  So if I was in the country, I’d definitely be a bystander, however, I would not want to miss this simply for the scenario. Until the 8th of January 2012, The National History Museum have a 1000 metre-square outdoor ice rink and is definitely a highlight in our London Christmas season.  The  museum provides this beautiful backdrop while money is very well spent on thousands of fairy lights; I mean, what is Christmas without fairylights huh?

With such a busy day ahead of us there was no time for chilling, we went straight from the airport to the hotel, dumped our stuff and headed straight for a backstage tour of the Odyssey Arena courtesy of  Dell. On the tour- we saw the red carpet area, dressing rooms, the arena post completion and more. Read the experience after the break!
