You have to hand it to Zara; when it comes to lookbooks, they’re always on point. Topman can learn a thing or two from them – just look at their rival’s recent lookbooks, click here and here. Now in comparison, the clothing and lookbook are so much more simple. That’s what menswear is to me, complex simplicity. Let the silhouettes, fabrics and cuts do the talking. Not the legs of the MALE MODEL, ey Topman? Allow the pum pum shorts for men. Zara have gone down the more sartorial route with casual and smart-casual looks. Definitely a lot more preppy than casual though, more on the reverse.

My favourite look is one that I’m probably most likely not to wear haha. The khaki harrington and matching chinos look – it’s very Steve McQueen. However I doubt it’d suit me, maybe with a navy blue harrington instead. What’s your favourite look?
