Weekly Wisdom - We are not meant to be perfect. We are meant to be whole.

Last year, I wrote a post on the incredible Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale animations by Richard Swarbrick. Since then I have kept an eager eye out for Swarbrick’s work and today I came across another of his animation masterpieces on Sudanese-British NBA basketballer Luol Deng. Without repeating all the superlatives I did in my previous post, again I will say that this Deng animation is just breathtaking. Check it out after the jump.

Luol Deng is a South Sudanese-British professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls. For those of you who are not familiar with Deng, I am sure we will be seeing more of him when he represents Great Britain national basketball team at the Olympics in the summer. Deng is also part of the Nike Make it Count campaign. Myself and some of the team recently attended one of the campaign events in Shoreditch and saw Deng’s image alongside other GB athletes like Paula Radcliffe.

Although basketball is by no means a big sport in the UK, I can see how Deng will continue to grow in iconic status and bring more recognition to basketball in the UK.

Enjoy the animation!
